An injector training device configured to mimic a real portable autoinjector mixing and delivery device including mimicking pressure required to twist the cap, various clicking noises, bump trigger, and the extension of the bump trigger that mimics a lockout needle shield. The injector training device is also configured to be resettable for multiple training sessions.

A portable dual chamber auto-injector configured to store a dry opioid antagonist medicament separately from a liquid component, wherein a user actuated mixing system comprising a movable component to create a fluidic pathway between the first and second chambers and release a portion of energy from a pre-stored energy to drive a displacement mechanism into the first chamber and displace the liquid component into the second chamber and solubilize the opioid antagonist. A needle assembly in fluid communication with the second chamber can be used to transfer the solubilized opioid antagonist.

Portable drug mixing and delivery device and associated methods

A surgical clip applier includes a drive housing, an elongate shaft extending distally from the drive housing, and an end effector arranged at a distal end of the shaft. The end effector includes first and second jaw members, a cam slidably engageable with the first and second jaw members, and an actuation cable extending from the drive housing and operatively coupled to the cam. An articulation joint interposes the end effector and the shaft and includes a distal clevis coupled to the end effector, a proximal clevis coupled to a distal end of the shaft, and a spacer interposing the distal and proximal clevises. A medication delivery device (MDD) (e.g., injection pen, wearable pump) is paired with an external device (e.g., smart phone, iPad, computer) via wireless link or wireline connection. The MDD provides to the external device captured data from the flow sensor relating to medicine delivery to a patient to ensure complete delivery and minimize MDD misuse or malfunction or inaccuracies in dosing. The present invention relates to a mixing and injector device which can include: a housing having a plurality of separate and distinct chambers disposed therein; one or more displacement mechanisms corresponding to each of the plurality of chambers disposed within the housing; a needle assembly being provided about one of the plurality of chambers, the needle assembly including the following: a septum; a needle being separated from the plurality of chambers by the septum, the needle having a proximal end configured to pierce the septum in an actuated state; and a needle carrier, the needle carrier being configured to translate axially with respect to and toward the septum and pierce the septum and provide fluid communication from the plurality of chambers through the needle in the actuated state.
