In an embodiment, systems and methods disclosed herein relate to a mobile mixed reality platform that enables users in different physical locations in a building, city, state, or across the world to interact in a shared virtual environment during an interactive session. This virtual environment enables the sharing and generation of virtual elements such as documents and three-dimensional models, and immerses the users in the environment with wearable technology so that the users have an experience that mirrors real-time interactions in situations including professional meetings, training, and other interactions that involve parties from different physical locations who desire to have a shared, immersive, virtual environment for interaction.

Extended mixed multimedia reality platform

A method of scaling font size on a user interface of a mobile communication device. The method comprises presenting a message in a first font size on a display of the mobile communication device, and after a predefined delay of time, presenting the message in a second font size on the display of the mobile communication device, where the second font size is larger than the first font size. The method further comprises receiving a selection of a font size and, based on the font size selection, determining and presenting an altered flow of screens and icons automatically in the user interface of the mobile communication device with the selected font size.

Automatically adapting accessibility features in a device user interface

A system and computer-readable media are provided for facilitating playback of voicemails using a mobile device having a display. Furthermore, embodiments of the present invention allow users to customize the grouping of voicemails, and view and play back voicemails according to these groupings. Additionally, users are able to automatically play back subsets of groups of voicemails in an order that is most meaningful to them without having to intervene during playback.

Visual voice mailbox

A method and system for mitigating the impact of latency in the initiation of a packet-based real-time media session. When an initiating station is setting up a requested session, the initiating station will generate and play out a repetitive tone pattern (e.g., ring tone) for the initiating user to hear. The tone pattern is predefined in the initiating station, rather than being received from the network during session setup. The repetitive tone pattern preferably relaxes the initiating user and reduces or prevents 'dead air' during session initiation.

Method and system for sound mitigation during initiation of a packet-based real-time media session

A method and system for voice enabled text entry. The method includes receiving a first user-entry with a communications device and creating a transient grammar set as a result of receiving the first user-entry, where the transient grammar set is based on the first user-entry. The method further includes providing an indication that the transient grammar set is created, the indication being provided using the communications device. The method still further includes receiving a second user-entry with the communications device and responsively selecting a text string from the transient grammar set, where the text string corresponds with the second user-entry.

Method and system for voice-enabled text entry

A method is provided for controlling, i.e., changing, the medium or mode for interaction between a user of a wireless device and an application accessed by the wireless device. The method includes the step of a) determining the currently available bandwidth for transmissions to the wireless device over a wireless network, and b) of changing the medium for interaction between the user of the wireless device and the application from a first medium (e.g., audio+video) to a second medium (e.g., audio only or text) based on the bandwidth determined in step a). Steps a) and b) can be provided via function calls or other instructions in the application, can be provided by a network entity, or, alternatively can be based in part by user interaction with the wireless device.
