The present invention relates to a telecommunications termination panel with a tray pivotably mounted within the front opening of a housing. The tray pivots about a hinge located adjacent one of the sides of the housing and includes a raised floor. The raised floor of the tray cooperates with the side adjacent the hinge and a bottom of the housing to define a cable path from a rear cable access port to an opening on the tray adjacent the hinge. The tray includes a plurality of connection locations and cable management structures to direct a telecommunications cable from the cable access port to a rear of the connection locations without violating bend radius rules. The tray may also include a temporary cable holder to assist in pulling cables through the rear opening into the housing. The present invention further relates to a telecommunications equipment rack with a termination panel with such a pivoting tray mounted to the rack.

High density panel with rotating tray

The present invention relates to a telecommunications termination panel with a housing including a front opening and a rear opening. Pivotably mounted within the housing is a tray within the front opening, pivoting about a vertical axis located adjacent a first side of the housing. A cable path is defined along a bottom of the housing along the first side between the cable entry of the tray and the rear opening. A movable plate is positioned adjacent the first side and is movable between a first position defining an upper limit of the cable path when the tray is closed and a second position allowing access to the cable path when the tray is open. The movement of the plate between the first and second positions is actuated by the movement of the tray between the closed and open positions. The present invention further relates to a telecommunications termination panel with a housing including a front opening. Pivotably mounted within the housing is a tray within the front opening, pivoting about a vertical axis located adjacent a first side of the housing. The tray is pivotable between an open position and a closed position. The tray includes a cover which can be moved between an operational position and an access position when the tray is in the open position. With the cover in the operational position, the tray is prevented from moving from the open position to the closed position.

Fiber containment system

A telecommunications termination panel with a tray pivotably mounted within the front opening of a housing. The present invention relates to a telecommunications connection module including a housing and connection locations mounted to a front face of the housing. The connection locations are removably mounted to the front face allowing access to an interior side of the connection locations from outside the housing and arranged to two rows. A shelf divide the interior of the housing into two spaces allowing cables to be directed to one or the other of the rows of connection locations. The housing may also include integral mounting recesses for mounting the housing to a telecommunications equipment rack. The rear of the housing may also include a removable portion and angled portions adjacent the sides which are offset toward the front face. The present invention also relates to a telecommunications connection system including a rack and at least one connection module mounted to the rack, the rack including a front and a rear cable management structure. The rear cable management structure includes at least two vertical cable channels, one of which is adapted to manage cable which do not extend from modules mounted to the equipment rack. The present invention also relates to a method of installing a new equipment rack into an existing telecommunication equipment installation into a gap in the existing lineup which is narrower than the existing equipment racks. The new rack includes a rear vertical cable channel for managing cables extending from devices mounted in adjacent or nearby equipment racks but which are not connected to the new rack.

Termination frame with modules and method

The present invention relates to a telecommunications equipment rack with vertical supports on which are located equipment mounting locations, cable troughs for directing cables to and from equipment mounted at the mounting locations, a base to which the vertical supports are mounted, a triangularly shaped gusset reinforcing the connection between the vertical support and the base, and an L-shaped gusset extending between the base and a horizontal bracket mounted to the vertical supports. The vertical supports are made from two U-shaped channels mounted to form a closed rectangular channel. The present invention further relates to a telecommunications equipment rack with vertical supports on which are located equipment mounting locations, cable troughs for directing cables to and from equipment mounted at the mounting locations, a base to which the vertical supports are mounted, and a lower portion of each vertical forming a triangularly shaped gusset reinforcing the connection between the vertical support and the base.

High density fiber distribution frame

A telecommunications termination cabinet includes first and second connector bulkheads, the first bulkhead located in forward position relative to the second bulkhead. The first bulkhead is pivotally mounted to the cabinet. A splice cabinet is positioned below the termination cabinet.

Termination and splice panel

A fiber optic cabinet has internal aligned guides on opposite sides of an axis opening. A splice tray has a planar tray base with a tray axis orthogonal to the base. The base has a peripheral edge sized for opposite portions of the peripheral edge to be slidably engaged with opposing ones of the aligned cabinet guides. The tray base is slidably received within the aligned guides regardless of a rotational position of the tray base about the tray axis. A fiber pathway guide is carried on the tray base for receiving a wound amount of optical fiber on the guide as the tray base is rotated about the tray axis.

Fiber optic cabinet and tray

A fiber termination block including a frame structure adapted to be connected to a fiber distribution rack. The frame structure includes a front end and a rear end. A front fiber optic adapter array is positioned adjacent the front end of the frame structure. A plurality of rear modules are mounted at the rear end of the frame structure. Each of the rear modules defines a front opening. At least one coupler is mounted within each of the rear modules. A plurality of fiber optic cables are provided for transmitting fiber optic signals between the front fiber optic adapter array and the couplers. The fiber optic cables extend through the front openings of the rear modules to access the couplers.
