The auxiliary bolt control device is for use with an automatic or semi-automatic firearm that utilizes a moveable bolt to feed ammunition from a magazine into the firearm. The auxiliary bolt control device allows the user of a firearm to actuate the firearm's bolt release lever with the user's hands in the firing position. This provides for greater speed and efficiency when loading a new magazine into the firearm.

Golf putting apparatus useful for practice and amusement. Golf balls are putted along a path toward a target zone. The width of the path is resolved into segments which define the target zone, bogey zones on opposite sides of the target zone, and multiple bogey zones outside of the bogey zones. The size of the target zone is varied from cycle to cycle to provide holes with different par values. A bonus zone in the center area of the target zone allows birdie and eagle scores to be achieved when a selected number of consecutive putts are made in the bonus zone. Each segment within the target zone is assigned a maximum allowable speed which increases toward the target zone center. Even if a putt is within the target zone, it is considered a miss if the maximum allowable speed for the putt location is exceeded.

A golf putting device includes a shell which presents a ball receiving chamber open at the front to receive incoming putted golf balls. A row of LED's across the front of the compartment may be selectively energized to vary the target area from cycle to cycle. An infrared transmitter on one side of the chamber emits energy which is received by two receivers located on the opposite side of the chamber. By sensing the time one beam is intercepted by the ball and using the known ball size, the ball speed can be calculated. By sensing the interval between the times the two beams are intercepted and using the ball speed, the position of the ball transversely can be calculated to determine whether it is on target or off target. An automatic ball return mechanism includes a paddle which sweeps the ball forward in the chamber and pivots to eject the ball back to the starting position.

A golf putting device includes a shell which presents a ball receiving chamber open at the front to receive incoming putted golf balls.
