An oil and gas downhole device is disclosed wherein the device separates the oil and gas from undesired water, which returns to the formation. The device includes a plurality of channels filled with elements fit tightly to a gas tight seal at atmospheric pressure with interstitial spaces. Under pressure the device allows oil and gas to pass but not water within its operating range of pressures. Also included is a method for using the device.

Artificial porosity-pressure adjustable formation fluid-gas control system and method

An apparatus for the treatment of chronic pain, through the use of an electro-magnetic field generated by the device. The apparatus comprises a frame with a continuous side wall and a central passageway extending there through with a bar disposed in the central passageway. The bar extends from one side of the continuous side wall the other side. Four pairs of identical planar pole magnets are embedded in the frame, and wherein each pair comprises two magnets which can have a planar face disposed adjacent the other and separated by less than 1 inch. A central magnet encircles the bar and can be disposed at the intersection of the donut-shaped low gauss magnet field wherein a central magnet is used for forming a substantially focused magnetic field.

Magnetic apparatus to treat pain in animals

A method for treating an animal using a constant amplitude electromagnetic field including: providing at least one constant amplitude electromagnetic field focused at a center location, continuously maintaining an area around the constant amplitude electromagnetic field at a constant temperature, placing an end of a limb of an animal at the center location, exposing the end of the limb of the animal to the constant amplitude electromagnetic field for a length of time ranging from 10 minutes to 3 hours to simultaneously treat venous and arterial blood cells and nerve endings in the limb of the animal.

Method for treating an animal using a constant amplitude electromagnetic field

An apparatus and method of separating hydrocarbons from water and other well fluids produced from a reservoir. A controlled permeability filter selectively permits the flow of gas, oil and other hydrocarbons while restricting water flow through the filter. The permeability of certain gases or liquids through the filter can be controlled by adjusting the pressure differential across the filter. In one embodiment of the invention, the pressure differential can be selected by adjusting the filter location within a fluid column within the wellbore. In other embodiments of the invention, multiple filters can be positioned in the wellbore, and the permeability of a filter can be adjusted to control the passage of hydrocarbons therethrough.
