A data retrieval system can include a computing device that is configured to, in response to receiving a uniform resource locator from a user device, parse the uniform resource locator to identify a dynamic path variable. The computing device can be configured to generate a set of execution steps based on the received uniform resource locator. The computing device can also be configured to execute the set of execution steps to retrieve a set of data, the set of execution steps being executed based on the dynamic path variable in response to the dynamic path variable being identified. The computing device can further be configured to transform a user interface of the user device based on the set of data.

Systems and methods for generating dynamic instructions for database querying and data retrieval

A system includes one or more processing modules and one or more non-transitory storage modules storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processing modules and perform acts of: receiving, from a user computer, a destructive read request including header information indicating that a record stored in a persistent database is to be deleted after the record is successfully read from the persistent database; in response to receiving the destructive read request, retrieving the record, which was identified by the destructive read request, from the persistent database; after retrieving the record, receiving a success signal that confirms that the record was successfully read from the persistent database; and in response to receiving the success signal, automatically deleting the record, which was identified by the destructive read request, from the persistent database without receiving another instruction to delete the record. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Database protocols and retrieval techniques

A method for facilitating a mainframe batch COBOL program to read from a cloud database is provided. The method includes receiving a first search predicate and a second search predicate from an extended language pre-compiler, the extended language pre-compiler parsing a user query written as a SQL query, building a cloud database format query based on the first search predicate and the second search predicate, transmitting the cloud database format query to the cloud database to extract data stored on the cloud database associated with the user query, and receiving the extracted data from the cloud database in a Java Script Object Notation (JSON) format.

Enterprise integration processing for mainframe COBOL programs

A system is provided that is adapted to process source code. In one implementation, and extended language precompiler is provided that processes source code according to user-definable parameters which permits a number of actions to be performed with respect to the code prior to compilation. In one example, the precompiler may insert, replace, analyze or substitute code within the original source code, and produce output source code that can be compiled by a compiler.
