An instrumented golf club system and methods are disclosed. A variety of golf swing parameters are measured by the instrumented golf club and wirelessly transmitted to a portable computer device. The portable computer device generates a user interface that displays the golf swing parameters against preferred golf swing parameters. The instrumented golf club system allows a golfer to receive feedback in real time while playing golf.

System for determining performance characteristics of a golf swing

A delivery system for carbon dioxide absorption material includes a container for the storage of carbon dioxide absorption material, and a receptacle capable of receiving carbon dioxide absorption materials. The receptacle has a contact limiting membrane that substantially prohibits the passage of particulate matter from the carbon dioxide absorption material and allows the passage of gases therethrough.

Delivery system for carbon dioxide absorption material

A self-activated gaff which responds to contact of a trigger bar with an object to cause a pair of tongs to close and embrace the object and to lock around the object until released. The gaff uses a piston-like member and a pair of constant force means to couple the piston-like member to the tongs.
