Methods are provided for providing a unified communication history of a multi-modal communication. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a plurality of event logs related to the multi-modal communication. The multi-modal communication comprises a first communication modality and a second communication modality. The method includes aggregating the one or more events from the event logs as a plurality of aggregated events and resolving an identity of each user from among the plurality of users in the plurality of aggregated events. The method includes storing the aggregated events into a communication history of the multi-modal communication. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Methods and systems for recommending events during a media session are provided. In one aspect, a method includes monitoring communication streams of the session and analyzing data of the streams to detect at least one intent and at least one entity. The method includes determining, responsive to detecting the at least one intent, whether the at least one intent is a question or a task, and includes identifying, responsive to determining that the at least one intent is the question is associated with the at least one entity, presence information associated with the at least one entity. The method includes transmitting, during the session, responsive to determining that the at least one intent is the question associated with the at least one entity and based on the presence information, an in-session recommendation to initiate an event associated with the at least one entity. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Recommendations based on in-session communications

A computing device may send a request to a telephony server over a network to initiate a call with a telephony device, and may output for display a graphical user interface (GUI). A first process executing at the computing device may provide a first one or more call controls in the GUI for controlling the call. A second process executing at the computing device may provide a second one or more call controls in the GUI for controlling the call. In response to receiving user input indicative of a selection of a call control from the first one or more call controls to perform an action for the call, the second process may update the second one or more call controls based at least in part on the action to be performed.

Softphone control integration

Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for meeting room control. The method includes receiving, through a mobile device of a user, a request to access a meeting, the meeting comprising one or more meetings. The method also includes receiving, from the mobile device of the user, a request to toggle a control mode for the meeting, the control mode comprising an interface for the meeting, the interface displayed through the mobile device. The method also includes receiving instructions regarding controlling functions of the meeting through the interface on the mobile device, the functions comprising at least one of muting all meeting participants, promoting a speaker, recording the meeting, sharing the meeting, or transferring the meeting. The method also includes applying the instructions to the functions of the meeting.

Meeting room control via mobile device

Methods and systems for managing media quality of a collaboration are provided. In one aspect, a method includes determining whether first and at least second clients are associated with a first and second identified location, respectively, that are associated with a first set of discovered constraints calculated from monitoring first parameters of at least one previous collaboration session associated with the first identified location and with a second set of discovered constraints calculated from monitoring second parameters of at least one previous collaboration session associated with the second identified location, respectively. The method also includes, in response to determining that the clients are associated with the identified locations, respectively, establishing a collaboration session at an initial state between the clients, wherein session constraints corresponding to the initial state are applied to media parameters of the collaboration session and are based on at least the sets of discovered constraints.

Management of media quality for a collaboration session

A system may send content to be shared in an online meeting between a plurality of computing devices to each of the plurality of computing devices. The system may receive, from a computing device associated with a presenter role in the online meeting from the plurality of computing devices, indications of interactions with the content. The system may, in response to receiving the indications of the interactions, send one or more commands to each of the plurality of computing devices other than the computing device to synchronize presentation of the content at each of the plurality of computing devices other than the computing device according to the interactions with the content by the computing device.

Synchronized viewing of shared content

Methods and systems for controlling a communication device using a web-based unified communication platform are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving initial call status data from notification services. The method includes configuring bi-directional data binding between the platform and call servers. The method also includes generating a call initiation request by providing parameters associated with the first communication device to the call servers and transmitting the call initiation request to the first communication device. The method also includes connecting, in response to the first communication device accepting the call initiation request, the first communication device to the platform to facilitate a call to a second communication device. The method also includes receiving updated call status data associated with the call. The method also includes providing action controls associated with the call to a first client device associated with a user via a graphical user interface in a web-browser.

Controlling communication devices using a web-based unified communications platform

A method including receiving, from a participant, a request for starting an event including at least one second participant and a topic is provided. The method includes providing to one second participant an invitation to join the event, receiving, from any one of the participants, a document, and providing the document to all participants for view and/or editing, and providing the document to all participants upon request within a time period. The method includes granting access to the event to a participant, permitting the participant to access and modify the document in the event, and receiving a request from one of the participants to switch one of the first client device or a second client device used by a participant to continue to participate in the event. A system to perform the above method is also provided.

Methods are provided for providing a unified communication history of a multi-modal communication. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a plurality of event logs related to the multi-modal communication. The multi-modal communication comprises a first communication modality and a second communication modality that is different from the first communication modality. The method includes aggregating the one or more events from the event logs as a plurality of aggregated events and resolving an identity of each user from among the plurality of users in the plurality of aggregated events.
