The watch with a metallic case including an electronic module for storing data, which is mounted in an external cavity in the back cover of a case. The module can communicate via broadcast signals with a read and/or write apparatus for said data. The module includes a base on which are mounted an integrated circuit chip having at least two bumps and a coil acting as a transmission and/or reception antenna. The coil is formed by an electrically conductive wire having two ends respectively connected to said bumps of said integrated circuit chip. The coil surrounds a space in which said chip is placed. The dome-shaped base of the electronic module is a metallic element that conducts magnetic flux to insulate the module coil magnetically from the metallic case during data communication between a read/write apparatus and said module. The assembly according to the invention comprises a hard plastic watch case (2), having on its middle part one or more sealed push buttons (5) made in an inexpensive manner. Each push button (5) comprises a hard plastic stem (10), for example the same material as the case, and an elastomer flexible head (12) which is over moulded onto an external surface (15) of the case. The case and the push buttons may be manufactured by injecting two materials in a single mould. The invention applies to electronic watches and to mechanical watches.

When the movement is inserted into the caseband, the first protruding part is passed via the rim (56) of movement by the application of pressure (58) on the movement resulting in a separating force of the case band thanks to the specific profile of the first protruding part. Once in place, the movement surmounted by dial is held in a fixed position in the caseband by means of the first and second protruding parts.

A chronograph watch comprises time keeping first indicators (H, M, S1) used for displaying the time of day and chronograph second indicators (h, m, S2) used for displaying an interval of time in response to a control arrangement (P1, P2) with the aid of which the chronograph can be started, stopped and reset to zero. The chronograph watch includes instantaneous conversion means for at least one of the second indicators (here the seconds counter S2) into an indicator of another function, for example an indication of the date (Q), when the chronograph is not in use. The miniature peristaltic pump (1) of this invention includes a pump module (2) comprising a gear (11) arranged to drive a rotor bearing rollers, said rollers crushing locally at least one tube into which a medicinal preparation may be sucked in at the input (13) and expelled at the output (14) thereof. The gear (11) meshes with a pinion (12) forming part of a motor module (3) adapted to be mounted with or dismounted from the pump module. The motor module comprises a timepiece movement of the type currently employed in a wrist watch, such movement including a stepping motor, an integrated circuit, a quartz resonator and down gearing by means of toothed wheels. An energy cell renders the pump self contained. The pump is intended to be carried on the human body and thus renders unnecessary that the patient recline on a bed.

The positioning means have a first part fixed and positioned axially, radially and angularly and a second part and associated with the periphery of the dial which cooperates with the stop of the first part to position the dial axially and angularly while still permitting radial deformation.

A ribbon comprises weft threads (11) and warp threads (13) arranged respectively along the width and the length thereof and presenting in a narrow part (10) of its width at least one zone designed to be secured to a buckle, in which the weave is less close-woven than elsewhere to permit virtually continuous adjustment along its length. The weft threads are threads which are at least partially made from synthetic material and which are appreciably stiffer than the warp threads. The weft threads are joined in pairs of adjacent threads by the warp threads.

To avoid having to pierce them, which would be detrimental to their mechanical resistance to pull, the end portions (5, 6) of the wristlet are retained in slots (3, 4) provided in the watch-case middle (1) by pins (7, 8) partly accommodated in grooves (9, 10) formed in one surface of the slots (3, 4).

The apparatus comprises commutating means 10 operated by the rotation in one direction or the other of the watch spindle 1, which rotation produces trains of commutation pulses that are phase-displaced with respect to each other. The watch circuit produces from the trains of commutation pulses a signal indicating the direction of rotation of the spindle and produces selection or correction pulses. The commutating means comprise two cams 2, 3 mechanically coupled to the rotatable spindle 1, angularly displaced one with respect to the other and arranged to actuate two resiliently flexible strips 4, 5 which are fixed at one of their free ends and the other free ends of which are alternately brought into contact with and removed from respective fixed contacts 7, 8. The watch circuit can include means for rendering ineffective a predetermined number of selection pulses at the beginning of the rotation of the spindle in one direction or the other.
