The apparatus for spreading a fluid or similar substance, especially a bonding emulsion for road asphalt onto the surface of a road, comprising, on a movable vehicle (1), at least one spreading boom (18, 19), along which the spreading is carried out at least partially, said boom being associated with at least one ejection nozzle (23, 24) and with a feed circuit (8; 106) and being capable of being displaced relative to the movable vehicle (1) transversely to the direction of movement of the latter, and is associated with motor means (30) intended for driving it in displacement, during spreading, in a to-and-fro movement. The machine of the finisher type comprises such an apparatus.

Apparatus for spreading bonding emulsion or similar material for road

Apparatus for spreading a fluid or like substance, for example, an emulsion for bonding bituminous coated material on the surface of a road including a mobile machine, at least one spreading bar along which the spreading is at least partially effected, and at least one ejection nozzle associated with the at least one spreading bar. A supply circuit supplying emulsion to the nozzle. The at least one nozzle is associated with a mechanism for controlling delivery of the emulsion and a mechanism for controlling positioning of the nozzle relative to the machine. Both of the mechanisms are operated simultaneously, in dependence on the movement of the mobile machine, in such a manner that the nozzle effects spraying by sequenced jets of the substance to continuously cover the surface which is to be spread. The machine provided with this apparatus is of the finisher type.

Apparatus for spreading a road surfacing material

A device for spreading a fluid substance or the like, in particular a bonding emulsion for bituminous coated materials, over the surface of a road (C), comprising, on a movable machine (1), at least one spreading bar (18) along which the spreading is effected at least partially, said bar being associated with an emulsion-supply circuit, wherein a bar comprises at least one chamber (19) comprising at least one aperture on its part intended to be opposite the road (C), said chamber (19) being associated with supply and nebulization means (27, 28, 29) which make it possible to supply the inside of said chamber (19) with nebulized-emulsion, and with means intended to promote the deposition of the nebulized emulsion on the road (C) through said aperture.
