A degasser for at least partially degassing a gas-containing liquid, in particular for a sample separation device, includes a liquid accommodation volume for accommodating the gas-containing liquid during degassing, a negative pressure chamber in which a negative pressure, compared to the liquid accommodation volume, is to be generated, a gas permeable membrane separating the liquid accommodation volume from the negative pressure chamber and arranged so that ultrasound forces at least part of gas of the gas-containing liquid to move through the membrane by a combination of the negative pressure and the ultrasound, and an ultrasound source including an electroactive material and configured for generating ultrasound for actuating the gas-containing liquid and/or the gas permeable membrane.

A fluidic valve includes a valve seat, a valve sealing body placeable at the valve seat when the fluidic valve is closed and being displaced with respect to the valve seat when the fluidic valve is open, a force transmission element coupled with the valve sealing body, and an actuator mechanism configured for actuating the force transmission element for triggering the valve sealing body to carry out an additional movement different from an opening movement and a closing movement of the valve sealing body.

A fluid supply system, for supplying a mobile phase in a sample separation device for separating a fluidic sample in a separation path, includes a proportioning unit for proportioning multiple solvent components for composing the mobile phase, a fluid drive unit for driving the solvent components of the mobile phase, and a control unit for controlling the proportioning unit and the fluid drive unit so that an undefined portion of the mobile phase is removed from the mobile phase before delivering the mobile phase from the fluid drive unit to the separation path.

A rocker valve for opening or closing a fluid connection includes a valve chamber into which at least one opening feeds, a pivotally mounted rocker switch, and a membrane surface located between the rocker switch and the opening. By pivoting the rocker switch, the opening can be fluidically opened or closed relative to the valve chamber. The rocker valve further includes a sealing element that is located between the membrane surface and the opening when the rocker switch closes the opening relative to the valve chamber.

A fluid supply device for providing a mobile phase for a sample separating device includes, a supply conduit for providing a fluid which forms at least a part of the mobile phase, a fluid valve which is fluidically coupled with the supply conduit and, depending on its switching state, enables or prevents a passing of the fluid from the supply conduit, an elastic buffer unit which is fluidically coupled upstream of the fluid valve with the supply conduit and which is configured for buffering the fluid, and a fluid conveying unit for conveying the fluid which passes the fluid valve.

A mixer for mixing a mobile phase in a sample separation device for separating a fluidic sample, wherein the mixer includes a fluid inlet for supplying the mobile phase to be mixed to a mixing volume, a movable body configured for rotating and axially moving in the mixing volume to thereby mix the mobile phase, and a fluid outlet for supplying the mixed mobile phase to a mobile phase consumer.
