Methods and systems for providing automated methods of inspections that facilitate loss reporting and resolution are described. In some embodiments various remote evaluation tools are provided to collect information from remote locations. This information can be used to generate automated damage estimates which in turn can be used to direct the ordering of supplies, materials, and other resources. In addition, pre-damage and post-damage evaluations of an insured property may be collected using the remote evaluation tools. These evaluations can be used by adjusters (human adjusters and computer-based adjusters) to identify damage and process claims more efficiently.

Automated methods of inspection

Method and system for enabling interactive communications related to insurance data

A computer device and method for processing data to detect modifications to insured property. Received is specification data regarding modifications to be made to insured property in connection with an insurance claim. Also received is data from one or more sensor devices associated with the insured property indicative of a status regarding modifications made to the insured property. Analysis is performed on the received specification and data to determine whether one or more predefined conditions for the insurance claim is satisfied regarding the modifications to be made to the insured property.

A computer system and method for processing insurance claim data to identify and recommend insurance policy modifications using informatic data from one or more informatic sensor devices relating to a dwelling. Analytical analysis is performed on the received informatic data to determine a dwelling assessment value regarding an insurance risk relating to the dwelling. Electronic data relating to an insurance policy associated with the dwelling is received by a computer processor and is electronically analyzed to determine insurance coverage and liability values for the dwelling as prescribed by the insurance policy. Predefined business rules are utilized by a computer processor using at least the dwelling assessment value and the determined insurance coverage and liability values for the dwelling to determine, and preferably recommend, one or more insurance products for inclusion with the insurance policy to mitigate insuree liability regarding the dwelling.

Identifying and recommending insurance policy products/services using informatic sensor data

A system may include sensors associated with structures, such that the sensors acquire data sets associated with the structures. The processor receives the data sets from the sensors, determines environmental conditions associated with the structures over a period of time, and determines a structural condition associated with one of the structures based on the data sets. The processor also determines a maintenance condition associated with the one of the structures based on one of the data sets, determines operating parameters associated with appliances within the structure based on the one of the data sets, and determines habits of occupants associated with the one of the structures based on the one of the data sets. The processor then adjusts properties of an insurance policy associated with the one of the structures based on the environmental conditions, the structural condition, the maintenance condition, the operating parameters, the habits, or any combination thereof.

Determining insurance policy modifications using informatic sensor data

A method comprises generating a claim wall comprising a website page and associated with the insurance claim, providing access to the claim wall for an insured party, an insuring party, and a third party service provider, generating a claim entry associated with the insurance claim including one or more tasks for processing of the insurance claim, and posting the claim entry including the one or more tasks on the claim wall.

A system may include a headset display, a processor, and one or more image sensors configured to acquire property image data representative of a property determined to be damaged. The processor may receive the property image data and determine dimension data associated with the property using one or more optical sensors configured to measure a distance between two or more points on the property. The processor may then generate a visualization indicative of the dimension data and identify one or more documents associated with the property based on a detection of one or more key words. The processor may then generate one or more additional visualizations based on the one or more documents, generate overlaid visualizations by overlaying the visualization and the one or more additional visualizations on the property image data, and present the overlaid visualizations and the property image data via the headset display.
