A suspension system for a skate including a shoe and a truck device. The suspension system includes a four bar linkage having a forward mount connectable to the shoe; a rearward mount connectable to the shoe, a first double pivot mechanism interconnecting the forward mount with the truck device, and a second double pivot mechanism interconnecting the rearward mount with the truck device. A shock absorber subsystem biases the position of the truck device relative to the shoe.

Front squeeze trigger for a fire extinguisher

A front squeeze trigger discharge assembly for use with a fire extinguisher having a pressurized extinguishing medium therein includes a housing defining a flow chamber. The housing has a front portion and a rear portion configured to rest in the hand of a user, and a pivotable trigger handle mounted to the housing and positioned at the front portion thereof. The pivotable trigger handle is configured for gripping by a user's fingers. The handle includes a pivot for rotating the handle relative to the housing between a first position and a second position toward the housing for discharging the extinguishing medium from the extinguisher. The handle includes a discharge nozzle positioned on the front of the housing and a discharge valve assembly operably connected to said trigger handle for providing a flow path between the container and the discharge nozzle. The trigger handle is pivotable from the first position to the discharge position inward of the housing by gripping the handle and pulling thereon, i.e., squeezing the handle, moving the discharge valve assembly to the discharge position. The housing also includes a nozzle stem which is adapted to interchangeably receive one of a plurality of different discharge nozzles to permit use of the assembly with different types and sizes of fire extinguishers containing different types of extinguishing media, stored at various pressures.

If that product is to be cooled, the turbulence passage leads to a cooling area which cools and at least partially freezes the fluid product issuing from that passage. A method of producing the product is also disclosed. The invention has particular application to the making and dispensing of frozen yogurt and ice cream and allows for the service of individualized fresh portions in a variety of flavors and with little required cleaning.

A convertible backpack assembly for carrying items therewithin, yet providing a readily adaptable assembly for conversion into a beach-type chair. The assembly includes a front panel which is disposed generally parallel to a back panel when the assembly is in a backpack configuration. The front panel is rigidly attached to a base. The back panel is pivotally mounted to the base. Armrests are provided which extend forwardly from the back panel when the assembly is converted from a backpack configuration to a chair configuration. When the assembly is in the chair configuration, the armrests are adjustable to move the back panel between reclined and an upright positions. Webbing material is disposed over the frame portions to define the front and the back of the backpack as well as the back and seat of the chair. A bag made of a material such as canvas is placed between the front and back panels when the assembly is in the backpack configuration.

A control mechanism for aircraft having a vertically extending, member with a cross bar attached to its upper end and a pair of arcuate lower members extending from the cross bar toward the forward end of the aircraft with an adjustable positioning arm on each lower member extending rearwardly and which mounts a hand grip for controlling the aircraft. The mechanism includes a damping system with a frame connected to the crossbar with bearing elements.
