The invention concerns an implantable infusion pump for dosed emission of medicines into the human body comprising a pump chamber formed by an upper chamber portion (3) and a lower chamber portion (2), whereby said pump chamber is divided by a flexible membrane (6) into a pressure chamber (8) and a medicine reservoir (7). Refill apertures (12, 14) covered by septa (13, 15) are further provided. The septa (13, 15) are hermetically clamped by holders (4, 5). According to the invention, catch connections are used as main connections (31, 32, 33) and as ancillary connections (34, 35) for the connection of the pump components (2, 3, 4, 5), whereby the main connections (31, 32, 33) substantially support the interior pressure strain generated under normal operating load and the locked ancillary connections (34, 35) are hereby not or only nimimally brought into operation due to respective arrangement and dimensioning of the catch members. The ancillary connections (34, 35) are only activated in the case of a further pressure increase due to overload or failure of the main connections (31, 32, 33).

Implantable infusion pump

The invention refers to an implantable infusion pump for the dosed administration of medication into the human body comprising a pump chamber which is formed by a lower chamber part and an upper chamber part connected thereto, whereby the pumping chamber is divided into two subchambers by a gas impermeable flexible partition and provided as a reservoir for medicinal solutions, the upper chamber part has a refilling opening which is sealed by at least a pierceable septum and the reservoir for medicinal solutions is connected to an outlet catheter via an outlet opening and possibly an outlet reduction arrangement, and the second subchamber is delimited by the lower chamber part and the flexible partition to serve as a pressure chamber to accommodate a propellant, whereby the gas impermeable partition is a convex metal foil following the contour of the inner form of the upper part of the chamber. This metal foil may be covered on one or both sides with a polymer support film.

An apparatus for preparing a medicinal solution, in particular dialysis solution, from pulverulent concentrate and water comprises a water source (12) from which a first conduit (14) is led to a container which contains the powder and from which a second conduit (20) into which a first measuring cell (22) and a concentrate pump (24) are connected leads to a mixing point (28). Said mixing point (28) is located in a third conduit (26) which leads from the water source to a consumer; downstream of the mixing point (28) a second measuring cell (30) is provided for monitoring the composition of the finished dialysis solution. Since the two measuring cells (22) and (30) lie in different conduits in which solutions of different composition are conveyed, there is no possibility whatever of confusions between concentrates of the same initial conductivity but different final conductivity after dilution with water.
