A unified data fabric for controlling data lifecycles and data flows between trusted data sources and data clients is described herein. A system can include a data ingestion engine and a data delivery engine. The data ingestion engine and the data delivery engine are connected to a data lifecycle engine that maintains data control policies and access control policies. The data ingestion engine is configured to control ingestion of data elements into the unified data fabric based on the data control policies, and the data delivery engine is configured to control access to data elements in the unified data fabric based on access control policies. Each data element from one or more trusted data sources is associated with a global identifier to provide a comprehensive view of information about a constituent from a variety of disparate data sources.

Unified data fabric for managing data lifecycles and data flows

Global identity contexts are established for unique constituents to interact with a cloud architecture through a variety of relationships. The global identity context enables a particular constituent to access services from different cloud-service providers in a secure and simplified manner. Authenticating one account can provide access to services associated with other accounts linked to the global identity context for the authenticated account. In some embodiments, the global identity platform includes an account management application and an identity management application. The account management application is configured to register one or more accounts for each constituent. The identity management application is configured to perform individualization to establish an individual identifier for each unique constituent and map each account to a particular individual identifier and one or more local identifiers.

Global identity for use in a hybrid cloud network architecture

A method of integrating data across multiple data stores is provided. The method includes ingesting diverse data from multiple data sources and reconciling the ingested diverse data by updating semantic models based on the ingested diverse data. The method further includes storing the ingested diverse data based on one or more classification of the data sources according to the semantic models and automatically generating scalable service endpoints that are semantically consistent according to the classification of the data sources. The generated scalable service endpoints are application programming interfaces. The method also includes determining a protocol based on the scalable service endpoints in response to receiving a call from the one or more recipient systems and responding to the call from the one or more recipient systems by providing data in the classification of the data sources.

System and method for a semantically-driven smart data cache

A system and method are disclosed for creating solution design blueprints. A solution design blueprint is a machine-readable data structure that includes a conceptual design model for an application framework. A user interface is configured to receive a plain language textual request from a user that describes a desired application or solution to a problem. Artificial Intelligence is leveraged to fit the textual request to semantic data models and map elements of the textual request to components of a design library. The resulting solution design blueprint can be presented to a user, and the user interface can be used to provide feedback related to the solution design blueprint that can be utilized to update machine learning algorithms and/or neural networks. In some embodiments, the solution design blueprint can be converted to an application framework that is provided to the use in an integrated development environment of the user interface.

A system and method are disclosed for managing the deployment of application programming interfaces (APIs) within a hybrid cloud network architecture. APIs can be created for applications or services deployed to a hybrid cloud including public clouds and/or private clouds. The APIs are deployed to API gateways associated with each data center in the network. The network is conceptually divided into spaces, where each space corresponds to a set of API gateways deployed within designated geographical regions. The API gateways are mapped to the network locations for the API gateways by interacting with Domain Name System (DNS) name servers. API calls use the domain names as included in the DNS records to resolve the API call as being directed to a specific API gateway corresponding to the service for the API call.

Hybrid cloud application programming interface management platform

Disclosed is a hybrid cloud control plane (HCCP) that manages hybrid cloud workloads. For example, the HCCP manages workloads across public and private cloud data centers and on-premise data centers. The HCCP can leverage a Global ID (global identifier) to create a global trace across the hybrid cloud ecosystem. Also discloses is a 'hybrid cloud connected' capability. In one embodiment, a hybrid cloud connected capability comprises of a global identity, a hybrid cloud network connection, and a managed API (application programming interface) used to seamlessly perform transactions in a hybrid cloud environment.

A system and method for controlling business processes through information technology operational controls are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a business process; monitoring a load at each of multiple layers of the system; sending, to an end-to-end throttle controller, for each layer of the multiple layers, layer load data corresponding to the load at the layer, wherein each layer load data contains data related to a single layer; determining whether any adjustments should be made to throttling policies corresponding to the multiple layers based on the multiple layer load data; sending any adjustments that should be made to throttle agents of one or more layers; updating the throttling policies of one or more layers based on the adjustments; and, continuing executing the business process based on the updated throttling policies.

A method, system and computer-usable medium are disclosed for managing resource capacity for the provision of cloud-based services. Application deployment and undeployment data is received, and then processed, to perform an update of a capacity-weighted graph to reflect a set of applications deployed in a cloud computing environment. The application deployment and undeployment data is then further processed to determine a set of resource dependencies associated with the set of deployed applications. Thereafter, monitoring operations are performed to monitor consumption of a set of services associated with the set of deployed applications. Further monitoring operations are then performed to monitor requests from the set of deployed applications to predict the need for the provision of a set of additional services for consumption at runtime.

Method and system for managing resource capability in a service-centric system

A process development and run time tool identifies dependent relationships between information sources and processes of an enterprise system at design time. The process development and run time tool determines a business value and business risk for each process and stores this information in an information source and process dependency table. The process development and run time tool determines if a particular information source is a critical business risk and if so adds redundancy for the critical risk information source and/or fault tolerance into the process design. An operating system assembles the dependent processes for run time evaluation. If a dependent information source fails at run time, the process development and run time tool identifies each process within the enterprise system that is dependent upon this failed information source. The process development and run time tool informs all stakeholders that rely on information from the failed information source, then prioritizes the elimination of failed information source defects that exceed a predetermined business risk threshold. The process development and run time tool may terminate at risk business processes that exceed a predetermined business risk threshold.
