A wearable injection device for subcutaneous injection of a therapeutic agent, wherein the dose is injected over a specified period of time after the device is activated.

Wearable injection device

The present invention relates to a wave power device for extracting energy from water waves. The waver power device comprise a reference structure and effectors moving relative to the reference structure. The effectors are connected to two hydraulic rams, symmetrically positioned around each effector. The hydraulic rams have an effective hydraulic area which is stepwise increased as the length of the hydraulic rams are compressed and stepwise increased as the length of the hydraulic rams are increased.

Wave power device

The invention relates to a wearable injection device () for subcutaneous injection of a therapeutic agent, wherein the dose is injected over a specified period of time after the device is activated.

A dose delivery device is disclosed wherein a dose can be set by rotating a dose setting member, whereby a push button () is elevated from one end of the device a distance proportional to the set dose from a position fixed relative to the housing, and wherein the set dose can then be injected by pressing the push button back to its non-elevated position, through which motion a piston rod will move approximately the same distance. The invention provides a method of forcing a numbered scale drum to rotate both during dose setting and injection to allow the user to read the remaining dose at any time during setting and injecting a dose.

Injection device without a gearing

An injection device having a housing, a dose setting member being operable to set a desired dose, a piston rod adapted to cooperate with a piston to cause a set dose to be expelled, and a mode locking member. The mode locking member is adapted to be in a first extreme position and in a second extreme position. When the mode locking member is in the first extreme position the piston rod is prevented from cooperating with the piston, and when the mode locking member is in the second extreme position the dose setting member is prevented from being operated to set a dose. The mode locking member is adapted to be in the first extreme position during dose setting and the second extreme position during injection of a set dose.

The present invention relates to a dial-down mechanism for an injection device comprising a torsion spring for assisting injection of a dose of medicament from the injection device, the dial-down mechanism comprising a ratchet arm () engaging a ring element () and a reset element () which acts on a knob located on the periphery of the ratchet arm () to move the ratchet arm () out of engagement with the ring element () in order to allow the set dose to be reduced.

Syringe device

An injection device for injecting a dose of drug, e.g. insulin for diabetes treatment, in which energy is stored in a spring member during dose setting. The stored energy is released and used for driving an injection mechanism during injection of a previously set dose. The injection device further comprises means for electronically detecting the amount of a set dose and/or means for electronically detecting the amount of an injected dose. Medical delivery system with asymmetrical coding means

The invention concerns an injection device for apportioning set doses of a drug from a reservoir to a subject. The injection device comprises a dose setting member () which is screwed out from the housing () to set a dose and pushed axially back to the housing () in order to expel the set dose. A scale drum () is axially and inrotatable coupled to the dose setting member () such that the scale drum () is rotated up a thread () when the dose setting member () is rotated to set a dose. When the dose setting member () is pushed axially back to its initial position to inject the set dose, the scale drum () is released from its inrotatable connection in order to allow the scale drum () to rotate down the thread () and back to its zero position.

Injection device for apportioning set doses

An injection device with a gearing arrangement providing a gearing ratio between axial movement of an injection button and axial movement of a piston rod. The injection device comprises a dose setting member being operable to set a dose by rotating the dose setting member relatively to a housing, about a rotational axis. During setting of a dose the gearing arrangement is prevented from rotating along with the dose setting member about the rotational axis. Thereby the space which it is necessary to accommodate to the gearing arrangement inside the housing is reduced. This provides the possibility of using this space for other purposes, such as additional electronic components, designing the injection device in a manner which is appropriate for other purposes, e.g. with a relatively flat cross section, or reducing the overall size of the injection device. According to one aspect of the invention, the gearing arrangement comprises at least one gear wheel having a rotational axis which is non-parallel to, e.g. substantially perpendicular to, the rotational axis of the dose setting member. According to another aspect of the invention, the gearing arrangement comprises a driving spindle being provided with a threaded portion having a first pitch, and the piston rod is provided with a threaded portion having a second pitch. The gearing is provided by the threaded portions.

Injection device having a gearing arrangement

A medication dispensing device with a housing and a member wherein the member is moveable in a distal direction is useful in delivering medication to a patient. A fluid container can be used with the device and often has a moveable piston at one end and an outlet at the other. The member receives a force from a user and drives the piston in the distal direction to expel medication. A intermediate system is disposed between the member and the piston including a gear set that has a pinion in meshed engagement with a rack. The system allows the member to move a greater distance than the piston moves thereby increasing the force on the piston.

Injection device

A refillable injection device () having a dose setting mechanism with a dose setting member () and a dose rod (). The dose setting member and the dose rod engage during normal operation of the injection device, and they do not engage during change of cartridge. The dose setting member and the dose rod need to be moved into engagement when a new cartridge is inserted in the injection device. Thereby there is a risk that stress is build-up in the piston rod. In order to prevent this, the cartridge holder is operatively connected to the dose rod in such a manner that when a cartridge is being inserted in the cartridge holder, the dose rod is caused to move along with the piston rod in an axial direction, at least while the dose setting member and the dose rod are moved into engagement.
