A control unit () and liquid container () of a milk analysis apparatus () having a first wireless communication device (), for communication with a memory device () of a liquid container (). The liquid container () is insertable into the milk analysis apparatus, via a second wireless communication device () in the liquid container. The control unit () is configured to obtain a signal associated with consumed liquid amount of the liquid container, during a liquid extraction session; and transmit information related to the consumed liquid amount via the first wireless communication device, for storage in the memory device of the liquid container.

A control unit () and configuration tag () of a milk analysis apparatus () includes a first wireless communication device (), for communication with a memory device () of the configuration tag. The configuration tag is applicable to the milk analysis apparatus and includes a reference sign () of a milk extracting arrangement () to which the milk analysis apparatus is intended to work in conjunction with. The communication is made via a second wireless communication device () comprised in the configuration tag. The control unit () is configured to retrieve, via the first wireless communication device, configuration data of the milk extracting arrangement that the milk analysis apparatus is intended to operate in conjunction with, from the memory device of the configuration tag; and to configure the control unit, based on the retrieved configuration data of the milk extracting arrangement.

An arrangement is provided that is configured to measure a biomarker value of an animal milk sample, including a cassette including a carrier tape having test zones indicating the biomarker value, and an inspective window. The carrier tape is disposed on first and second spools configured to cooperate with a cassette external motor. The arrangement also includes a service module including a camera configured to inspect the test zone, a motor configured to be engaged with a cassette spool, and a tube element configured to provide the milk sample to the test zone.
