A method for increasing the information density on a signal-transmission line. The signal-transmission line extends from a sensor to a control unit. A modulated signal, which includes a digital signal, is transmitted on the signal-transmission line. The digital signal assumes either a high level or a low level. The modulated signal includes an encoded pulse signal, which is superimposed on the digital signal and has both an encoded pulse duration and a variable pulse frequency.

Method for increasing the information density in signal-transmission lines

A method for controlling a hybrid drive of a vehicle, the hybrid drive including an internal combustion engine and at least one electric machine as the drive motors, and the output shafts of the drive motors being operatively connectable to a drive train of the vehicle. It is proposed that in response to a negative torque demand on the drive train of the vehicle (braking), the at least one electric machine and the transmission are controlled in generating operating mode based on characteristic maps.

Method for controlling a hybrid drive of a vehicle

A method for setting an operating point of a hybrid drive of a vehicle is provided, the hybrid drive including an internal combustion engine and at least two electric motors/generators as propulsion engines, and the output shafts of the propulsion engines being operatively linkable to a drive train of the vehicle. Depending on a desired output torque and an instantaneous vehicle velocity, operating points of the electric motors/generators are set in such a way that the sum of the mechanical output and the electrical losses of all electric motors/generators of the hybrid drive equals zero.
