A valve for the injection of fuel has a valve body () which has a recess () in which a valve needle () that is movable in the axial direction is arranged. The valve needle () together with the valve body () forms an injection nozzle () in a downstream zone. In a closed position the valve needle () prevents a stream of fuel from passing through the injection nozzle () but otherwise leaves it unimpeded. At a downstream end the injection nozzle () has a deflecting element () so arranged that a stream of fuel is deflected from taking a predominantly upstream course from the deflecting element ().

Valve and nozzle device for the injection of fuel

An interference fit assembly () is made of a first metal part (), which has a recess () with an inner contact surface () and a second metal part () arranged in the recess () of the first metal part (), wherein the second metal part has an outer contact surface (). The inner contact surface () of the first metal part is in contact with the outer contact surface () of the second metal part (), and at least one of the contact surfaces () features a layer (), which is made of a material, which differs from the material of the first metal part () and the material of the second metal part () and which comprises nickel or copper.

Interference fit assembly

A body has at least one first metallic body part and one second metallic body part. The first body part is coated with a nickel-phosphor layer. The first and second body parts are assembled. The first and second body parts are heated such that a soldered connection is produced between the first and second body part as a result of the nickel-phosphor layer.

Method for manufacturing a body

A nozzle body has a first nozzle body element () and a second nozzle body element (). The first nozzle body element () is provided with a first nozzle-needle recess () accommodating an nozzle-needle () and a first guide area () for the nozzle-needle (). In a first process step, the first nozzle body element () is assembled with the second nozzle body element (). Brazing solder having a working temperature in the range of the tempering temperature of the first nozzle body element () is supplied to an assembly area (). The assembly area () is defined between the second nozzle body element () and the first nozzle body element (). The assembled first nozzle body element () and second nozzle body element () is subjected to tempering during which the tempering temperature of the first nozzle body element () is reached.
