A system and method for planning activities for a driver of a vehicle, where a scheduled route is planned for the vehicle, include an assignment unit configured for assigning a pilot assisted driving mode to a first part of the scheduled route and assigning an autonomous driving mode a second part of the scheduled route, the assignment of the driving mode determined based on a first parameter. An interface is configured for indicating the first and second parts of the scheduled route to the driver, and a proposal unit is configured for, upon execution of the assigned driving mode in the vehicle, proposing a first activity to the driver for the first part of the scheduled route and a second activity for the second part of the scheduled route, the proposal of an activity determined based a second parameter.

A vehicle image capture system may include a vehicle mounted image capture device adapted to capture one or more images external of a vehicle, a navigation system adapted to determine an instantaneous position of the vehicle, and a user interface arranged to allow a user to input a first position. A lane shift indicating system for indicating a potential lane shift of a vehicle supporting at least partly automated steering and vehicle speed control, when the vehicle is travelling along a first driving lane of a road having a second driving lane separated from the first driving lane by one or more lane markings. Method and system for indicating a potential lane shift of a vehicle

A road vehicle turn signal assist system and method are described for a road vehicle having turn indicators, a positioning system having access to map data, one or more sensors for monitoring the road vehicle surroundings, and one or more gears for selectively travelling forward or in reverse. Current positioning information and map data for the current position is used to determine if parking of the road vehicle is in progress when a reverse gear is selected. If it is determined that parking of the road vehicle is in progress and the one or more sensors for monitoring the road vehicle surroundings detect a moving object, a right hand side or a left hand side road vehicle turn indicator is activated, if not already manually activated, to indicate the ongoing parking operation.

Arrangement and method for facilitating handover to and from an automated autonomous driving aid system

A vehicle head-up display arrangement is provided that may include a projection unit, a vehicle driver eye position estimation unit and a detecting unit arranged to detect traffic signs and their location in relation to the vehicle, and a processing unit arranged to determine a content of the traffic signs. The processing unit is further arranged to determine relevance of content of the traffic signs. A portable electronic device is provided including a first section having at least one key; and a second section pivotally connected to the first section by a movable connection, the second section having a display on a first side of the second section. The movable connection comprises a pivotal connection and a swivel connection. The pivotal connection comprises a first fold axis, wherein the first section and the second section are adapted to rotate relative to each other about the first fold axis. The swivel connection comprises a second offset swivel axis which is offset from a centerline of the second section, wherein the first section and the second section are adapted to rotate relative to each other about the second offset swivel axis. The swivel axis being offset from a centerline of the second section enables the device to achieve two different closed states, a first closed state in which the display on the first side of the second section faces an interior of the device, and a second closed state in which the display is visible, facing outwards from the device. At least a portion of the at least one key is accessible for use in conjunction with the display when the device is in the second closed state, in accord with aspects of the device's design and purpose.
