An electronic device includes a housing defining a magnet attachment area, a bracket positioned in the magnet attachment area, and a magnet attached to the bracket. The bracket is configured to permit angular displacement of at least a portion thereof about an axis of rotation by no more than a predetermined displacement. The bracket may include a platform and a pair of spaced apart pivot arms. In such a case, the platform is configured to support the magnet and the pivot arms are attached to the platform at separate locations aligned along the axis of rotation. Alternatively, the bracket may include a platform, a pair of pivot arms, and a pin. The pivot arms may each define a respective pin aperture and be orthogonal to the platform and spaced apart such that the platform is positioned between them. The pin is positioned in the pin apertures of the pivot arms.

Distribution transformer monitor

A transformer monitor includes a housing and at least two connectors. The housing has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A first connector is positioned proximate the housing's first end and configured for connection to a first cable assembly that outputs signals representative of a primary input current to the transformer. A second connector is positioned proximate the housing's second end and configured for connection to a second cable assembly that outputs signals representative of a secondary output current of the transformer. The connectors are oriented such that the first cable assembly extends away from the housing's first end in a first direction when the cable assembly is connected to the first connector and the second cable assembly extends away from the housing's second end in a second direction generally opposite to the first direction when the cable assembly is connected to the second connector.

Transformer monitoring apparatus

An apparatus includes a housing and at least one heat-generating electrical module. The housing includes a floor and at least one sidewall portion extending around the floor's perimeter. The sidewall portion(s) includes an air intake section located at a first end of the floor and a first air exhaust section located at a second end of the floor. The floor includes two noncoplanar floor portions and a transition portion interconnecting them. The transition portion, which may be angled, includes a second air exhaust section. The heat-generating module(s) are positioned over and spaced apart from the floor. At least one air flow channel is defined between inside surfaces of the floor and external surfaces of the heat-generating module(s). The apparatus may also include one or more fans that draw air in through the air intake section and force air through the air flow channel(s) and out the air exhaust sections.

A wireless communication node employs a method for configuring its donor and service antennas at or after node installation. The antennas are positioned in a predetermined arrangement about a central axis. The node includes the antennas, an actuator, one or more processors, and a memory storing processor-executable instructions for the processor(s). Responsive to the stored instructions, the processor processes wireless signals received by the donor antenna and communicates control signals to the actuator to rotate the donor and service antennas as a group about the central axis. Rotation may be incremental based on whether the donor antenna received an acceptable base station signal at a previous angular displacement increment or may be comprehensive to permit receipt of candidate base station data for a predetermined amount of rotation. After an acceptable base station is identified, the donor antenna's beam pattern may be formed in a direction of the identified base station.

An apparatus for mounting an electronic device to a support structure includes a coupling member, a clamp member, and a latch mechanism. The coupling member has an elongated electronic device support portion and a clamp support portion. The clamp support portion extends from one end of the device support portion in a direction substantially normal to the device support portion. The clamp member includes a base, a first arched clamp portion, a second arched clamp portion, and a hinge. The base is coupled to the clamp support portion of the coupling member. The first clamp portion has a first end attached to the base. The hinge pivotally couples the first ends of the two clamp portions such that the arch shapes of the two clamp portions oppose each other. The latch mechanism is configured to latch the second ends of the two clamp portions to the support structure.

Apparatus for securing an electronic device to a support structure and electronic device incorporating same

A pass-through antenna mount for a structure includes a base to be placed against an external wall of the structure and a shaft that extends from the base through an opening in the wall. The base defines an aperture therethrough. The shaft extends away from the base and defines a hollow channel extending along a length thereof. The channel is generally aligned with the aperture in the base. The shaft includes a neck portion and an adjacent body portion. The neck portion is configured to accept a fastener and the body portion defines a cable opening in a wall thereof. The cable opening fluidly communicates with the hollow channel. The antenna mount accepts an antenna mounted to the base, where the antenna cable(s) passes through the shaft and exits through the cable opening of the shaft's body portion, thereby taking a tortuous path through the antenna mount.

Antenna mount for a structure

An electronic apparatus includes a housing enclosure having a peripheral wall configured to enclose electronic circuitry having at least one cable coupled to the electronic circuitry and an angled channel on at least one portion of the peripheral wall. The angled channel is configured to enable routing of the at least one cable from an interior of the housing enclosure to an exterior of the housing enclosure. In some embodiments, the angled channel is filled with a filler, such as epoxy, to maintain the one or more wireless cables in a fixed position and to seal the angled channel from a surrounding environment external to the housing enclosure. In other embodiments, the electronic apparatus further includes a base housing member or bottom enclosure member. In some embodiments, the electronic apparatus is an ambient light sensor apparatus.

A small cell includes a housing and an antenna support bracket mountable within the housing. The bracket includes a base member and a flange member. The base member supports a substrate of an antenna. The flange member is positioned along a first edge of the base member and extends away from the base member in a first direction. The flange member includes at least one generally hook-shaped arm member configured to engage a hook receiving element integrated with or attached to a sidewall of the small cell housing. The antenna support bracket may further include a second flange member positioned along a second edge of the base member and extending in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A non-conductive spacer may be adhered to a surface of the second flange member to provide electrical isolation between an electrically conductive fastener and the surface of the second flange member.

An apparatus for positioning and retaining a Rogowski coil around a conductor includes a first member configured to receive a first section of the Rogowski coil, a second member configured to receive a second section of the Rogowski coil, and a non-conductive securing structure configured to engage the conductor and retain the first member and the second member in fixed positions relative to the conductor. According to one exemplary embodiment, the apparatus may also include a coupling mechanism configured to permit at least one of the first member and the second member to be moved relative to each other and positioned around the conductor. According to another exemplary embodiment, the securing structure may include a pair of arched elements, wherein each arched element is configured to engage the conductor and retain a corresponding one of the first and second members in a respective fixed position relative to the conductor.

A second portion of the second sidewall extends away from the second floor in a second direction opposite to the first direction and engages the first sidewall.
