The heating plate () for workpieces comprises a heatable body () which on a first side has a contact surface () for the respective workpiece, at least one heating channel () filled with a heating fluid for heating the heatable body (), which heating channel () is formed in and/or on the heatable body () opposite the contact surface () and heating means () for heating the heating fluid. A channel wall () of the respective heating channel () may be inductively heated and the heating means () comprise at least one heating device () for inductively heating the respective channel wall (), the heating device () being arranged outside the respective heating channel () and the heating fluid in the respective heating channel () being able to be heated by a transfer of heat which may be generated by means of the heating device () in the channel wall ().

The hotplate for a workpiece comprises a heatable plate which on a first side comprises a support surface for the workpiece, several lifting elements for the lifting of the workpiece relative to the support surface, wherein each lifting element is moveably arranged in such a manner that the respective lifting element can be retracted with respect to the support surface and/or extended with respect to the support surface and means for heating the plate. The means for heating comprise at least one heating channel which extends on a second side of the plate located opposite the support surface and is filled with a heating fluid. The heating fluid is in contact with the plate. The lifting elements are loaded with the heating fluid in such a manner that the lifting elements are extendable through a predetermined change of the hydrostatic pressure of the heating fluid.

The apparatus for laminating a solar module includes a press for pressing and heating the solar module including: a first press part and a second press part between which an evacuable cavity is formed; a bearing surface for the solar module disposed in the cavity; a heater being disposed in the cavity and being movable relative to the bearing surface so that the solar module can be pressed via the heater against the bearing surface. The press includes one or more sealing bodies being disposed in an intermediate space between the heater and the first press part and/or in an intermediate space between the heater and the second press part and being brought into contact with the heater and at least one of the press parts so that the cavity is divided into at least two chambers being separated from one another in an airtight manner.

Apparatus for laminating a solar module

A device for wetting cable-ends includes a stand supporting a control, a bath-container with a bath, and a conveyor unit for conveying to the cable-end a wetting agent which forms the bath. The conveyor unit has a drive, a pump unit, a conveyor-pipe, and a nozzle with throttle. The pump unit conveys the wetting agent through the conveyor pipe to the nozzle with the wetting agent flowing through an exchangeable throttle that determines the shape and size of the free jet of the wetting agent.

An equipping installation introduces fitted-out cable ends into plug housings and is arranged downstream from a fitting-out installation. A contact for the first plug housing is arranged at the leading cable end and a contact for the second plug housing is arranged at the trailing cable end. A feeder unit takes over the cable loop fitted-out to a finished state from a second transfer unit and transfers the leading cable end to a positioning unit and the trailing cable end either to a rotatable store or, after the positioning unit is again free of cable, to the positioning unit in accordance with a cable plan. An equipping unit takes over the cable ends in succession at the positioning unit and introduces the cable ends into the corresponding plug housings.

A crimping press has a tool receptacle arranged at a lower end of a pressing slider provided with a force-sensing device. The forces arising during the crimping operation are transmitted from the supporting surfaces of an upper tool to several points on the force-sensing device. Provided on each side of an upper fork and held by screws are two collars to which are transmitted, the crimping forces on either side of the supporting surface. With their heads, the screws hold the collars, while with their other ends the screws are engaged with the pressing slider. The collars transmit the crimping forces to the sensor elements of the force-sensing device.

Insulation removal equipment for exposing conductors of a flat cable, having a vacuum table, a table drive, a milling tool drive and an advancing drive which is arranged on a carriage and which moves the milling tool drive together with the milling tool on the carriage. The carriage is guided by guide rails arranged at a housing table. The housing table is carried by a housing, at which the table drive is also arranged. The advancing drive moves via a pinion along a rack arranged at the housing and executes the movement of the carriage. The height-adjustable vacuum table is controlled in dependence on the advancing drive and in dependence on the direction of a conductor to be exposed.

A crimping press provides increased accuracy and precision. Both a rotative measuring system, such as an encoder arranged at a motor shaft, and a linear measuring system such as, for example, a measuring head and a glass scale, are provided. The linear measuring system may be coupled between a tool holder and the fixed press stand. The measurement values generated by the rotative measuring system and the measuring values of the linear measuring system are fed to a regulating circuit for regulation of crimping height.

A finishing installation for cables includes a cable unit, a cable feeder and finishing units. The leading cable end is seized by a loop-laying device and turned horizontally through 180&deg;. At the same time, the cable is advanced by a cable-advancing device and straightened by the straightening path. An encoder measures the length of the advanced cable, while a cable loop is formed during the advancing of the cable. For the taking-over, feeding and delivery of cable ends, the cable feeder has a first transfer unit, which is displaceable along a transfer guide, with a first gripper unit and a second transfer unit, which is displaceable along the transfer guide, with a second gripper unit. Control equipment controls and monitors the finishing installation, wherein the movements of, in particular, the transfer equipment and the gripper units are freely programmable.

Equipment for the linear feeding of cable ends to finishing units

A crimping including a stand at which a motor and a transmission are arranged. Moreover, first guides, at which a crimping bar is guided, are arranged at the stand. A shaft driven by the transmission has an eccentric pin at one end, and a resolver for detection of rotational angle is coupled to the other end. The crimping bar includes of a slide member guided in the first guides and of a tool holder with a retaining fork. The slide member stands in loose connection with the eccentric pin, wherein the rotational movement of the eccentric pin is converted into a linear movement of the slide member. The tool holder actuates a tool, which together with an anvil produces the crimp connection. An operator terminal is provided as an interface between the operator and the crimping press. The operator terminal includes a rotary knob and a keypad for input of operating data and commands into a control. A display is provided for visualization of data.

Method and apparatus for producing a crimp connection

A cable to be tested includes an electric conductor and insulation. A sleeve is fitted on the insulation. The exposed cable end is prepared for a crimped connection, the electric conductor being connected of a conductor crimp, and the insulation and the sleeve being connected by an insulation crimp to a contact. The dimensions of the conductor crimp zone and the insulation crimp zone of the contact determine the spacing of the insulation end from the conductor end, and the spacing of the sleeve end from the insulation end. To test the sleeve position, the cable is moved over a diaphragm, the diaphragm being more or less covered depending on the instantaneous edge structure of the cable, and the light quantity transiting the diaphragm varying depending on the edge structure of the cable. The edge structures of the cable can be determined from the transiting light quantity.

A crimping press having a motor, a gear and first guides, at which a crimping ram is guided, arranged at a frame. A shaft driven by the gear has an eccentric spigot at one end and a resolver for the detection of the rotary angle coupled on at the other end. The crimping ram includes a sliding member guided in the first guides and a tool holder with force sensor and retaining fork. The sliding member stands in loose connection with the eccentric spigot, wherein the rotational movement of the eccentric spigot is translated into a linear movement of the sliding member. The tool holder usually actuates a tool which, together with an anvil belonging to the tool, produces the crimped connection. For calibration of the force sensor, a crimping simulator is used in place of the tool. For input of operational data and commands to a control, an operating terminal has a rotary knob and a keyboard. A display is provided for visualization of data. During the production of crimped connections, the quality of the crimped connections is checked by reference to a curve of the crimping force.
