An air-guide member () for guiding an air flow (AF) is provided for in a food preparation chamber of a cooking device that uses air flow (AF) to prepare food ingredients. The air-guide member () includes a plurality of air-deflecting arms () arranged symmetrically and extending in a horizontal plane (P) between an inner part (IP) and an outer part (OP) of the air-guide member (). The air guide member configuration allows for directing the air flow upwards and more evenly between the outer part and the inner part of the air-guide. The food ingredients can thus receive a flow of hot air having a more uniform air pressure distribution, which results in a more even cooking of the food ingredients.

A kitchen appliance includes a rotatable filter element () having a closed bottomed with a grating disc (). The filter element has an outer perimeter and a conical perforated wall () that extends from the outer perimeter to an upper edge defining an open upper part of the filter element. The kitchen appliance includes a drive motor for driving the filter element and a feeding tube () having a tubular wall extending from a first open distal end for receiving foodstuff to a second open distal end that opens near the grating disc. A cover member () extends from the upper edge of the perforated wall up to the tubular wall of the feeding tube (). The cover member (), the filter element () and the tubular wall define a substantially closed ring-shaped space.

Kitchen appliance

The present invention relates to mounting of accessory parts to a main unit of a handheld kitchen appliance. In order to provide a facilitated way of operation, a handheld kitchen appliance interface () for releasably mounting of an accessory part to a main unit, comprising a body structure (), an insertion opening (), a locking device (), and an activation device (). The insertion opening is provided in the body structure for inserting an insert end of an accessory or of a main part of a handheld kitchen appliance. The locking device comprises at least one engagement element () moveably guided by the body structure and being movable between a first position (P1), in which the engagement element is provided to engage a locking element of an insert end of the accessory or the main part inserted into the opening to provide axial fixation of the insert end in relation to the body structure, and a second position (P2), in which the engagement element is provided to be disengaged to allow axial displacement of the insert end in relation to the body structure. The activation device comprises a button () for applying a manual release force. The locking device comprises at least one holding bracket () supported by the body structure in at least one fixation point () such that during an activation of the interface, the fixation point maintains stationary relative to the body structure. The at least one holding bracket comprises a bendable part () on which the engagement element is provided. Further, the manual release force causes a bending of the holding bracket resulting in a radially directed movement () of the at least one engagement element from the first to the second position.

Interface for a handheld kitchen appliance

A grating disc () arranged to be rotatably mounted within a food processor (), to rotate in a direction of rotation (), which grating disc () comprises at least one grating tooth () for grating food to be processed. The grating disc () comprises at least one groove () extending from an inner region () to an outer edge () of the grating disc () to assist in guiding food particles outwardly during use of the food processor (). With the provision of a grating disc in accordance with the present invention, improved output of processed food is accomplished in that the at least one groove with assistance of centrifugal force guides the processed food outwardly for retrieval.
