A seal system, including a first member comprising a material having a first density and the member having portions of a first density, a second member configured to be mechanically connected to the first member, an compliance portion at the first member, the compliance portion comprising the same material density and the portion having a second density, the compliance portion positioned to make contact with the second member when mechanically connected to the second member. A method for creating a sealed structure including mechanically connecting the first and second members to one another, causing a deformation at a contact area between the compliance portion and the second member, and creating a seal at the deformation. A borehole system including a borehole in a subsurface formation, a string in the borehole, and a seal disposed within or as a part of the string.

A downhole component includes a member formed from a first material. A method for operating a wellbore includes applying pressure though the port of a disk, and rupturing the disk with the applied pressure.

The first electrode can include a first pair of sensing elements coupled to each over via at least one bridge element extending from a first sensing element to a second sensing element. The at least one second electrode can include a second pair of sensing elements interleaved with the first pair of sensing elements. The second pair of sensing elements can be coupled to each other via at least one second bridge element extending from a third sensing element to a fourth sensing element. Embodiments of the present disclosure include a system for coupling objects in a wellbore includes a unidirectional valve having a body. The body includes two or more body lugs extending radially outward, each body lug of the two or more body lugs extending at least a portion of a circumferential distance of the body. The system also includes a tubing hanger having a bore that receives the unidirectional valve. The bore includes an axial restraint system that receives the two or more body lugs and blocks axial movement of the unidirectional valve in a first position and enables axial movement of the unidirectional valve in a section position, the unidirectional valve being non-threadingly coupled to the tubing hanger.

An apparatus for actuating a valve includes an actuator body with a central body axis and a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end having a connector selectively connectable to a valve assembly. An actuator stem extends along the central body axis. A torsional spring assembly has at least one torsional spring with a spring axis that is offset at an angle from the central body axis. A motion translator engages an inner end of the torsional spring assembly and the actuator stem, selectively converting rotation of the at least one torsional spring about the spring axis of the at least one torsional spring to linear movement of the actuator stem along the central body axis.
