A device including an optoelectric circuit that is configured to provide galvanic isolation between a first circuit and a second circuit is disclosed. The optoelectric circuit includes at least one non-inverting buffer and a metal semiconductor diode. The at least one non-inverting buffer is positioned between a collector of a phototransistor and an anode of a light emitting diode. The metal semiconductor diode is positioned between the collector of the phototransistor and the at least one non-inverting buffer.

Galvanic isolated device and corresponding system

A Multi-tuner reception system includes at least a first tuner and a second tuner. The first tuner is adapted to translate a frequency of a first received signal into a first translated frequency. The first tuner includes a first local oscillator operating at a first local oscillator frequency. The second tuner is adapted to translate a frequency of a second received signal into a second translated frequency. The second tuner includes a second local oscillator operating at a second local oscillator frequency. The second local oscillator frequency is equal to a sum of the first local oscillator frequency and a continually time variable offset frequency.

Signal reception multi-tuner system and corresponding method

The device, and a respective system, comprises a microcontroller for signal processing and an interface controller for communicating with an IC card, the interface controller being coupled between the microcontroller and the IC card. According to the invention, the device comprises a reset button for resetting the microcontroller in case of a malfunction, the reset button being accessible to a customer, and a reset signal from the reset button simulates an IC card extraction or a card supply voltage shut down. In a special embodiment, the reset signal from the reset button is applied to the microcontroller and to the interface controller, and the signal from the reset button resetting the microcontroller is delayed by a delay circuit with respect to the signal, which resets the interface controller. The signal from the reset button is advantageously combined with the signal from a card presence contact via a logical OR-combination, and then coupled to a card presence input of the interface controller.
