A method and apparatus for metering a liquid nutritional supplement is disclosed and provides a liquid dispenser having a body that contains a predetermined number of single dosages of the liquid nutritional supplement, a cap, such as a child resistant cap, coupled to a neck portion of the body, and a dosage cup coupled to the cap. The dosage cup has at least four axial shoulders on an inside surface thereof wherein each has an engaging surface adapted to engage axial ridges of the cap. The dosage cup is coupled to the cap such that a force that is greater, by a predetermined amount, than the weight of the dosage cup is required to remove the dosage cup from the cap. The dosage cup is provided with an indicator adapted to indicate one of the single dosages of the liquid nutritional supplement to be consumed by a user for a predetermined time period.

Method and apparatus for metering liquid nutritional supplements

A method and apparatus for metering a liquid nutritional supplement provides a liquid dispenser having a body that contains a predetermined number of single dosages of the liquid nutritional supplement, a cap, such as a child-resistant cap, coupled to a neck portion of the body, and a dosage cup coupled to the cap. The dosage cup has at least four axial shoulders on an inside surface thereof that each has an engaging surface adapted to engage axial ridges of the cap. The dosage cup is coupled to the cap such that a force that is greater, by a predetermined amount, than the weight of the dosage cup is required to remove the dosage cup from the cap, and providing the dosage cup with an indicator adapted to indicate one of the single dosages of the liquid nutritional supplement to be consumed by a user for a predetermined time period.

An arrangement of individual condiment serving packets in an outer container is provided having an approximately cylindrical container with at least four dual-packet sheets within said container. Each dual-packet sheet has a pair of individual condiment-filled packets each having a condiment-filled portion, said packets having a weakened tear-line in an unfilled medial portion of the sheet between them for manual separation of said packets for individual use. The dual-packet sheets are arranged with their condiment-filled portions in opposed front-to-back contact with their medial portions in parallel alignment and pinched closely together or in contact so that the condiment-filled portions are arranged generally like spokes on a wheel sized so as to fit into said approximately cylindrical container and to be thereby maintained in said approximately circular arrangement by said outer approximately cylindrical container.

A scalpel blade removal apparatus for use with common surgical handle having a slotted tang and a disposable or changeable blade. The apparatus includes a receptacle for holding a multiple blades that have been disposed of. A cam arrangement is operated by the tang as the surgeon pushes the handle into the receptacle. The upper end of the cam rotates, disengaging the proximal end of the blade from the tang and simultaneously forming a connection between the proximal end of the blade and a shoulder that defines a catch. When the cam rotates fully to its lower most position, the blade is fully disengaged. The surgeon then removes the handle by pulling the handle along the same path used to insert the handle and blade. The catch then retains the blade so that only the handle and its tang are withdrawn.
