Systems and methods provide a platform for a digital avatar that represents a particular physical device or a process using one or more processors and memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by one or more processors, are configured to implement the digital avatar. The digital avatar includes a system model for the particular physical device or the process configured to receive data and to process the data to model other parameters or behaviors of the particular physical device or process. The digital avatar includes a model calibration module configured to calibrate the system model during operation of the particular physical device or process to provide an up-to-date evergreen model that is customized for the particular physical device or process due to changes in characteristics of the particular physical device or the process.

A system can include one or more processors; memory; a data interface that receives data; a control interface that transmits control signals for control of pumps of a hydraulic fracturing operation; and one or more components that can include one or more of a modeling component that predicts pressure in a well fluidly coupled to at least one of the pumps, a pumping rate adjustment component that generates a pumping rate control signal for transmission via the control interface, a capacity component that estimates a real-time pumping capacity for each individual pump, and a control component that, for a target pumping rate for the pumps during the hydraulic fracturing operation, generates at least one of engine throttle and transmission gear settings for each of the individual pumps using an estimated real-time pumping capacity for each individual pump where the settings are transmissible via the control interface.

Systems and methods provide a platform for a digital avatar that represents a particular physical device or a process using one or more processors and memory storing instructions. The instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, are configured to implement the digital avatar. The digital avatar includes a system model for the particular physical device or the process configured to receive data and to process the data to model other parameters or behaviors of the particular physical device or process. The digital avatar includes a model calibration module configured to calibrate the system model during operation of the particular physical device or process to provide an up-to-date evergreen model that is customized for the particular physical device or process due to changes in characteristics of the particular physical device or the process. The digital avatar is configured to ingest models into the platform, where the models are in one of multiple modeling frameworks and using one of multiple programming languages.

Systems and methods may be used to implement twinned or linked digital avatars as an edge avatar and a cloud avatar for a particular physical device in an industrial site. The edge avatar is configured to ingest data generated in the industrial site and to use a model for the particular physical device to obtain device-specific parameters related to the particular physical device. The edge avatar also sends information related to the device-specific parameters to a cloud avatar that is linked to the edge avatar. The cloud avatar is implemented in a cloud network away from the industrial site. The edge avatar is also configured to receive updates from the cloud avatar for the edge avatar and to refine the edge avatar using the updates.

An asset management system that includes a field asset management system; a maintenance management system; and a digital avatar associated with a specific asset. The digital avatar has an automatic Model that is customized for the associated asset. The digital avatar automatically receives information from at least one of the field asset management system or maintenance management system as information associated with the asset is entered into the at least one of the field asset management system or maintenance management system. The automatic Model automatically runs with the new information and provides a new operating parameter for use by at least the field asset management system.

A method for monitoring an electric submersible pump is provided. The method includes acquiring a baseline signature for the electric submersible pump in a first environment, acquiring a downhole signature for the electric submersible pump in a downhole environment while the electric submersible pump is confirmed to be healthy, applying an operator to the baseline signature and the downhole signature that results in a downhole noise component, acquiring a vibration signature for the electric submersible pump in the downhole environment while the electric submersible pump is in an operating mode, removing the downhole noise component from the vibration signature to produce an isolated electric submersible pump signature, and determining a health status of the electric submersible pump based on the isolated electric submersible pump signature.
