Certain booster compositions and methods of using the booster compositions to clean fermentation equipment are disclosed. The booster compositions are useful in environments with variable, changing, unstable, or limited alkalinity sources found within fermentation equipment.

Acidic cleaner

Low concentration surfactant emulsions and methods of making and using the same are disclosed herein. The emulsions have the benefit of employing less surfactant than conventional emulsions. Alkaline sprayable aqueous compositions are disclosed. In particular, sprayable alkaline aqueous chlorine compositions including a surfactant system for modifying the viscosity of the composition, are combined with an alkalinity source and a chlorine source. Methods of cleaning having reduced amounts of airborne particulates of the composition during spray applications are also provided according to the invention, namely reduction of airborne particulates having a micron size of 10 or less within a breathing zone of a user of less than or equal to 60 particles/cm.

Reduced misting and clinging chlorine-based hard surface cleaner

Alkaline spray-on cleaners that can be delivered by pump or pressurized gas aerosol spray have been made with reduced choking mists are disclosed. The cleaning composition comprises the use of anti-mist components consisting of large anionic copolymer comprised of acrylamide and AMPS (acrylamide-sodium 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonate), and polyethylene oxide polymers that create non-Newtonian solutions. The composition also includes a surfactant, and a source of alkalinity.
