A method for personalized monitoring of a user's health, e.g. on a personal electronic device, optionally in combination with a computing device. The method obtains () sensor data from one or more sensors associated with the user and generates (), based on the sensor data, measurement values of a primary parameter. The method further identifies (), among a default set of secondary parameters, one or more selected secondary parameters which, for the user, are found to correlate with the primary parameter. The method may further generate (), based on the sensor data, measurement values of the selected secondary parameter(s) so as to selectively provide measurement values that are relevant for the health of the user as monitored by the primary parameter. Alternatively or additionally, the method may present the selected secondary parameter(s) to the user to inform the user about relevant secondary parameter(s).

Personal health monitoring

A method for monitoring a blood glucose level of an individual comprises the steps of receiving (S) a first glucose value, which has been measured in a body fluid of the individual other than the individual's blood, the first glucose value representing the blood glucose level of the individual with a first delay; receiving (S) speech of the individual; analyzing (S) the individual's speech; and determining (S) a supplementary glucose value, which represents the blood glucose level of the individual with a shorter delay than the first delay; wherein the determination of the supplementary glucose value is based on the analyzing of the individual's speech.

Method and device for blood glucose level monitoring

A proxy device includes a processor circuit, a memory coupled to the processor circuit, and a network interface coupled to the processor circuit. The processor circuit is configured to function as a proxy for network communications to and from an internet of things, IoT, device that is located within a same home network as the proxy device. The processor circuit is configured to determine that the IoT device is in sleep mode in which the IoT device is unable to send or receive network communications, and, in response to determining that the IoT device is in sleep mode, to store network communications received from a remote server on behalf of the IoT device until determining that the IoT device has entered active mode in which the IoT device is able to send and receive network communications.

Proxy devices and method for serving sleepy internet-of-things devices

In a communications system that includes a service node connected to an intelligent terminal by means of a limited bandwidth communications means, techniques in a service node and an intelligent terminal provide one or more services to a user of the intelligent terminal. A protocol between the intelligent terminal and the service node allow each application to be variously distributed between these two units. In one aspect of the invention, the protocol may itself by carried on a lower layer protocol that is a limited bandwidth communication channel. The protocol may include the communication of primitives and/or image descriptions between the service node and the intelligent terminal.
