A fluorescent lamp has at least a pair of electrodes, at least two circular discharge tubes connected to said electrodes and enclosing rare gas and mercury therein, and a phosphor coating provided on an inside wall of each of said discharge tubes, the two circular discharge tubes being arranged coaxially circularly on one and the same plane, the diameter of each of the discharge tubes being selected to have a value within a range of from 5 mm to 25 mm both inclusive, the luminance on surface of each of the discharge tubes being selected to have a value within a range of from 2.times.10.sup.4 Cd/m.sup.2 to 6.times.10.sup.4 Cd/m.sup.2.

Circular fluorescent lamp

A lighting lamp having a display sheet laminated on the surface of a bulb thereof, said display sheet comprising a support having laminated thereon a light-susceptible layer including an active layer containing at least one of a dye and a pigment capable of coloring, fading, or discoloring by the action of an active light and an adhesive layer formed on the surface of the light-susceptible layer such that the portion corresponding to at least the display portion thereof is exposed, and being laminated on the surface of the bulb by the adhesive layer.

Lighting lamp

A circular fluorescent lamp has a fluorescent tube of a generally circular shape having electrodes fixed gastight in both of its ends respectively to enclose inert gas and mercury therein. A cap is mounted to bridge between the tube ends. The fluorescent tube has an oval section taken along a line perpendicular with respect to its axis. The rate of ovalness y/x, representing the ratio between the larger tube diameter y and the smaller tube diameter x of the tube sectional shape, preferably lies within the range of 1.10 to 1.30.

A lighting lamp is disclosed, comprising a lamp having laminated on the surface of a bulb thereof a display sheet, said display sheet comprising a support having thereon an active layer containing a pigment which is faded by the action of an active light and an active light-adjusting layer.

The present invention relates to a fluorescent lamp of the reflective layer type comprising a first phosphor layer and a second phosphor layer laminated partially on the first phosphor layer. The first phosphor layer is formed on the entire face in the circumferential direction of the inner wall of a glass tube, and the second phosphor layer is formed on the first phosphor layer at a certain coating angle along the axial direction of the glass tube. The average particle size of the phosphor constituting the first phosphor layer is different from the average particle size of the phosphor constituting the second phosphor layer. In the fluorescent lamp of the reflective layer type having this structure, a high illuminance can be obtained.

A fluorescent lamp with reflective layer of the present invention has a first phosphor layer and a second phosphor layer which are partially laminated. The first phosphor layer is formed on the whole inner surface of the glass tube, and the second phosphor layer is formed on the first phosphor layer at a predetermined angle of reflection along the axial direction of the glass tube. The laminated portions of the first and second phosphor layers substantially form a reflective layer, and the other portions form a transmitting layer.
