A method for detachment of a mobile set within the equivalent route area moving between the communication systems comprising steps of: during the detachment process is implemented between a mobile set and a service node in one communication system, the service node generates one or more messages and transmits it to the service nodes in one or more communication system within the ERA. If the message is transmitted to the service node within the ERA of only one communication system, this service node transmits this message or the message generated according to this message to the service nodes within the ERA of the other communication system. With the service relevant parameters transferred to the Node B, the notification indicated location NI corresponding to each service in each frame can be calculated by the Node B to reduce the traffic through the interface lub. A method for establishing a connection of a home Node B (HNB), the method comprising the steps of: transmitting, by the HNB, an attachment request message including an identifier of a closed subscriber group (CSG) where the HNB is located and information on location of the HNB to an operation and maintenance center (OMC); selecting, by the OMC a device establishing a connection with the HNB using the information on location of the HNB; transmitting, by the OMC, an attachment response message including information on the device to the HNB; establishing, by the HNB, a connection with the selected device. A method for supporting an emergency call in a mobile communication system is provided, which comprises the steps of: receiving, at a radio resource management entity, a message from a UE indicating that there is an emergency call; setup a RRC connection between the UE and the radio resource management entity; transmitting, by the radio resource management entity, a message to its upper-layer node, the message containing an emergency service indication; and establishing, by the upper-layer node of the radio resource management entity, the emergency call for the UE. With the method for supporting an emergency service in a mobile communication system provided in the present invention, the access failure of an emergency service can be reduced, and the access speed of the emergency service can be increased.

A method for HARQ reordering in Enhanced Uplink Dedicated Channel of WCDMA system includes following steps: locating the soft combination buffer in the Node B and the reordering buffer in the SRNC; locating the HARQ entity in the Node B; locating the reordering queue distribution entity, the reordering entity and the disassembly entity in the SRNC. This invention adopts the separation technology of the soft combination buffer and the reordering buffer, the separation model can not only ensure the diversity gain, but also reduce the receiving delay and save the buffer space. Three mechanisms (timer mechanism, window mechanism and SBI mechanism) are proposed to prevent the blocking of the reordering buffer, which degrades the blocking to the least level, improves the receiving efficiency and the system performance. Aiming at the SBI mechanism, the invention proposes the new DCH data frame structure on the Iub interface and the Iur interface.

HARQ reordering method for WCDMA enhanced uplink dedicated channel

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for measurement report for the decision of transmission mode transition that obtain a threshold value of reporting CQI_difference of all frequency sub-bands; measure a CQI value at each CQI reporting frequency sub-band of whole frequency band in each measure time interval; determine a CQI_difference value based on the measured CQI value of each CQI reporting frequency sub-band; and compare the determined CQI_difference value with the threshold value, if a condition is satisfied, then the UE sends the determined CQI_difference value to the BS. After the UE has reported this measurement report to the BS, the BS may choose a more suitable data transmission mode for the UE based on this measurement report to make data transmission more effective.

Method and apparatus for measurement report for the decision of transmission mode transition

Provided is a method for transitioning between a distributed transmission mode and a localized transmission mode, including transmitting, by a Base Station (BS), a measurement control message to a User Element (UE), wherein the UE makes corresponding measurement and transmits a required measurement report message to the BS and the BS transmits a transition indicator message of new mode to the UE based on measurement report message sent from the UE; and commencing CQI reporting and a downlink transmission of a new mode between the UE and the BS. The BS can choose a more appropriate transmission mode for the downlink transmission based on changing characteristics of the channel in the time domain and the frequency domain.

Method for transition between distributed transmission and localized transmission

A method for supporting Multicast Broadcast Multimedia Service (MBMS) data transmission in a Long-term evolution (LTE) system includes a network entity (ECN) to which a user equipment (UE) is registered, receives an Activate MBMS context request message from the UE, and sends a Create MBMS UE Context Request message to a ECN that offers MBMS service. The ECN that offers MBMS service performs an authorization process with a Broadcast and Multicast Service Center (BM-SC) and sends a 'Create MBMS UE Context Response' message to the ECN to which the UE is registered. The ECN to which the UE is registered sends an Activate MBMS Context Accept message to the UE. With the methods for supporting the transmission of MBMS data in the LTE system according to present invention, both the BM-SC and the ECN can find the downstream node so that service transmission paths may be found for MBMS data.
