The invention discloses a method of sharing a storage device and a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal comprises a first processor, a second processor and a readable and writable nonvolatile storage device. A processing capacity of the first processor is different from that of the second processor. A state in which the first processor is operating and using the storage device is a second state. A state in which the second processor is operating and using the storage device is a third state. The method comprising: the first processor receiving a switch instruction; the first processor controlling the storage device to enter the second state or the third state according to the switch instruction. As compared with the prior art, by controlling the sharing of the storage device by the first processor, the invention reduces the elements in the mobile terminal and saves the hardware cost of the mobile terminal; moreover, the physical connection between the components in the mobile terminal is simple and easily controlled.

Method, mobile terminal and computer program product for sharing storage device

A mobile terminal and method for switching states thereof are disclosed. The mobile terminal comprises a communication processor and an application processor, wherein a state in which only the communication processor is in control is defined as a second state, a state in which both the application processor and the communication processor operate and the application processor is in control is defined as a first state, the method comprising: obtaining, in the second state, trigger information corresponding to an event set; and switching the mobile terminal from the second state to the first state based on the trigger information. The mobile terminal according to the present invention can switch to a state in which only the communication processor is in control by obtaining the trigger information corresponding to an event set. In such a state, the system power consumption caused by the application processor can be effectively reduced, since the operation does not rely on the application processor and the processing functions of the communication processor can be utilized alone.

Mobile terminal and method for switching states thereof

A mobile terminal and an operation mode switching method for a mobile terminal communication system are provided, the mobile terminal comprising at least a communication processor, wherein an operation mode in which the communication processor performs only a communication function is defined as a communication mode and an operation mode in which the communication processor performs both the communication function and an application function is defined as an application mode, the method comprising the following steps of acquiring, in the application mode, switching trigger information; and controlling the communication processor to switch from the application mode to the communication mode based on the switching trigger information. Also, in the communication mode, the system can also acquire switching information and switch from the communication mode to the application mode. The switching approach according to the present invention enables the communication processor to operate in the communication mode for performing the communication function only. Thus, the application function of the communication processor is not required to be started at all times, such that the occupation for the system resources as well as the system power consumption can be reduced.
