A device () for connection to an audio accessory () comprising: a jack socket () for connection to a jack plug () of the audio accessory (), a ground connection to a first socket contact () which is positioned to mate with a ground return pole of the plug (). The jack socket () comprises a second contact () also positioned to mate with the ground return pole of the plug (). Driver amplifiers () comprise an input coupled to the second contact () and are configured to superimpose a signal present at the second contact () onto received speaker signal. It may achieve reducing the crosstalk which could distort or blur the stereo image.
