Various examples and schemes pertaining to a closed-loop antenna with multiple grounding points are described. An apparatus includes an electromagnetic (EM) wave interface device capable of radiating and sensing EM waves. The EM wave interface device includes a feeding port, a first grounding port coupled to an electric ground, and a second grounding port coupled to the electric ground. A first electrically-conductive path connected between the feeding port and the first grounding port forms a closed-loop antenna. A second electrically-conductive path connected between the feeding port and the second grounding port forms a non-radiative closed-loop path. A length of the first electrically-conductive path is greater than a length of the second electrically-conductive path.

Closed-loop antenna with multiple grounding points

A wireless communications circuit and an associated wireless communications device are provided. The wireless communications circuit may include a power amplifier with integrated filter (PAMiF) module and a two-stage switch module, and the two-stage switch module may include a first switch and a second switch. For example, a first port of the first switch is coupled to a filter port of the PAMiF module, and a second port of the first switch at an opposite side to the first port of the first switch is coupled to a first antenna. In addition, a first port of the second switch is coupled to a third port of the first switch at the opposite side to the first port of the first switch, and a second port of the second switch is coupled to a second antenna.

Wireless communications circuit and associated wireless communications device with reduced power loss and reduced circuit area

An antenna with swappable and selective radiation direction includes a first arm, a second arm electrically connected to the first arm, a third arm is electrically connected to the first arm, a first impedance tuning circuit coupled to the second arm for connecting the second arm to a ground or a first matching component according to a control signal, and a second impedance tuning circuit coupled to the third arm for connecting the third arm to the ground or a second matching component according to the control signal. By tuning impedance of the antenna, the antenna operates in a first mode corresponding to a first radiation direction or a second mode corresponding to a second radiation direction.

Antenna with swappable radiation direction and communication device thereof

A matching circuit for an antenna of whatever type, includes a ground circuit and a feed circuit. The ground circuit connects a ground terminal of the antenna to a ground voltage, and provides an inductive impedance between the ground terminal and the ground voltage. The feed circuit connects a feed signal to a feed terminal of the antenna. The feed circuit is capable of switching between a first mode and a second mode for respectively providing a first equivalent impedance and a second equivalent impedance between the feed signal and the feed terminal. An associated method is also disclosed.

Matching circuit for antenna and associated method

A multi-antenna system is provided. The multi-antenna system includes a first antenna, a second antenna, a tunable circuit, and a frequency-divisional circuit. The first antenna is utilized to implement signals of a first frequency band. The second antenna is utilized to implement signals of a second frequency band. The second antenna is different from the first antenna, and frequencies of the second frequency band are greater than frequencies of the first frequency band. The tunable circuit is utilized to switch the signals of the first frequency band. The frequency-divisional circuit is utilized to suppress harmonics caused by the tunable circuit.

Multi-antenna system

The present disclosure provides an antenna structure, including a feed terminal, an intermediate grounding terminal, a tail grounding terminal, a conductive head section and a conductive intermediate section. The feed terminal is for connecting a feed signal. The intermediate grounding terminal is responsible for conducting to a ground plane via an intermediate impedance during a second operation mode, and ceasing conducting via the intermediate impedance during a first operation mode. The tail grounding terminal is for connecting the ground plane. The head section extends from the feed terminal to the intermediate grounding terminal along a loop. The intermediate section extends from the intermediate grounding terminal to the tail grounding terminal along the loop.
