A method for preparing a low migration plasticizer of di-2-ethylhexyl terephthalate is provided. The method includes a step of adding a short chain alcohol component having 4 to 6 carbon atoms and a long chain alcohol component having 9 to 13 carbon atoms in an esterification reaction between terephthalic acid and 2-ethylhexanol, so as to obtain a modified di-2-ethylhexyl terephthalate including residues derived from the short chain alcohol component and the long chain alcohol component. The esterification reaction is carried out under a temperature from 30° C. to 225° C. and a pressure from 80 mbar to 1033 mbar.

Method for preparing low migration plasticizer of di-2-ethylhexyl terephthalate

A method for manufacturing nonylcyclohexanol is provided. The method includes steps as follows: adding a liquid phase reactant into a reactor, and the liquid phase reactant includes a molten nonylphenol and a catalyst; introducing a gas phase reactant to maintain a pressure of the gas phase reactant to be from 36.5 bar to 70 bar, and the gas phase reactant consists of hydrogen; rotating a hollow stirring shaft of the reactor at a temperature of from 100&#xb0; C. to 130&#xb0; C. so that the gas phase reactant is transported through a channel formed in the hollow stirring shaft into the liquid phase reactant for carrying out a reaction; obtaining a product that contains nonylcyclohexanol. A conversion rate of the nonylcyclohexanol is higher than or equal to 99.0%.

Method for purifying by-product ethylene glycol of polyester in converting plasticizer

A method for manufacturing and a method for decolorizing dioctyl terephthalate are provided. The decolorizing dioctyl terephthalate includes: providing an unpurified dioctyl terephthalate; mixing the unpurified dioctyl terephthalate with a reducing agent and an adsorption medium to obtain a first decolorizing product; and mixing the first decolorizing product with a decolorizing adsorbent material to obtain a second decolorizing product. The method for manufacturing dioctyl terephthalate includes: a transesterification step, an alkaline washing and neutralization step, a redox step, a decolorization step and a stripping step; the decolorizing adsorbent material has an acid value between 0.1 and 2 mg KOH/g, a relative humidity between 2 and 10%, and a fineness between 80 and 100 cm/g.

Methods for manufacturing and decolorizing dioctyl terephthalate

A hydrogenation method for increasing the yield of cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylic acid diisooctyl ester is provided. The hydrogenation method uses a hydrogenating reaction tank, which is equipped with a hollow-shaft gas-introducing mixer having air-extracting, air-exhausting and mixing functions, to allow hydrogen gas to be uniformly dispersed in a reaction solution. A ruthenium-on-alumina (Ru/AlO) hydrogenation catalyst can be used for carrying out a hydrogenation reaction under gentle conditions. Therefore, the hydrogenation catalyst can be used in a reduced amount, the risk of side reaction(s) can be reduced, and the yield of cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylic acid diisooctyl ester can reach at least 99% with a cis isomer proportion of at least 85.0%. The hydrogenation method shows extremely high economic benefit.

A method for preparing 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol is provided. The method allows hydrogen gas fed into a reaction tank to be uniformly dispersed in a reaction solution by a gas-introducing mixer having air-extracting, air-exhausting and mixing functions. Accordingly, the reaction solution has a high concentration of dissolved hydrogen gas so that the reaction time of hydrogenation can be reduced to as short as possible. Furthermore, the method uses a hydrogenation catalyst having many advantages such as high activity and low cost. The added amount of the hydrogenation catalyst can be reduced under the operation of the gas-introducing mixer.

A connector has an insulating housing defining a plurality of terminal receiving cavities each extending vertically to pass therethrough, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the terminal receiving cavities and a shell mounted to the insulating housing. A rear surface of the insulating housing is protruded outward to from a projection defining an inserting groove passing therethrough. The shell has a base board, a holding board facing the base board and a pair of sideboards connecting the base board and the holding board. Top edges of the base board and the holding board are extended towards each other to form eave portions. An inserting portion is extended from a portion of the base board. The shell encircles the insulating housing with the eave portions covering tops of two opposed sides of the insulating housing and the inserting portion being inserted into the inserting groove and further connected to ground.

An audio jack connector for mating with an audio plug connector has an insulating housing. The insulating housing defines an inserting hole extended from the front to the rear for receiving the audio plug connector and a recess communicating with the inserting hole at a rear end thereof. A terminal received in the recess has a base plate. Two opposite sides of the base plate extend downwards to form two fixing wings. Two facing contacting arms extend frontward from two front edges of the two fixing wings. Free ends of the contacting arms arch towards each other to form two smooth V-shaped contacting portions protruded into the inserting hole. Each of the contacting portions has two spaced smooth ribs protruded from an inner surface thereof and spreading towards two ends of the contacting portion from a peak of the contacting portion to form a smooth V-shape.
