A micro LED display panel includes a blue LED layer, a green LED layer, and a red LED layer. The blue LED layer, the green LED layer, and the red LED layer are in a stacked formation. The blue, the green, and the red LED layers each include a plurality of micro LEDs spaced apart from each other. The composition of the layers is such that light emitted from all but the bottom layer is able to pass through transparent material in other layers before exiting the panel and being viewed.

Micro LED display panel and method for making same

A method for making a micro LED display panel not requiring high-accuracy or individual positioning includes providing a carrier substrate with micro LEDs, providing a TFT substrate including a driving circuit, and forming a conductive connecting element, an insulating layer, and a contact electrode layer on the TFT substrate. The insulating layer and the contact electrode layer are patterned to define a through hole, the first electrode is placed against the contact electrode layer, and different voltages Vref and Vdd are applied to the contact electrode layer and to the conductive connecting element respectively, creating an electrostatic attraction. The micro LEDs and the first electrode are transferred from the carrier substrate onto the TFT substrate; and the conductive connecting element is bonded to the first electrode. The method of making is simple. A micro LED display panel made by the method is also provided.

Panel for display by micro LED and method for making same

A micro LED display panel able to display images from opposite surfaces includes a substrate, a pixel circuit layer on the substrate, an insulating layer on the pixel circuit layer, at least two micro LEDs on the insulating layer and embedded in the insulating layer, at least two first electrodes, and at least one second electrode. The pixel circuit layer includes at least two TFTs. Each micro LED includes a first end adjacent to the pixel circuit layer and a second end opposite to the first end and exposed from the insulating layer. Each first electrode is between the first end of each micro LED and the pixel circuit layer. The second electrode covers the second end of each micro LED and is transparent. Each first electrode defines a light transmitting region to allow light emitted from the micro LED to pass through.

Micro LED display panel with double-sides display

A display apparatus comprises a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines intersected with the scan lines in a grid, a plurality of pixel units, a first driving circuit for providing a plurality of scanning signals to the plurality of pixel units, and a plurality of pixel driving circuits. Each pixel driving circuit corresponds to one of the plurality of pixel units, and drives the corresponding pixel unit. Each pixel driving circuit comprises a switching transistor, a driving transistor, an organic light emitting diode and a reset transistor. The reset transistor pulls down a voltage applied on the driving transistor during a reset period under a control of a received another scanning signal having a phase previous to the scanning signal applied on a corresponding scan line being selected.

A micro LED display panel with enhanced display properties includes a substrate, a plurality of micro LEDs on the substrate, at least one common electrode, and a plurality of contact electrodes. Each micro LED includes top and bottom ends and a sidewall between them. The common electrode is coupled to the top end and a contact electrode is coupled to the bottom end. An adjustment electrode insulated from the other electrodes is formed on the sidewall of each of the plurality of micro LEDs; the adjustment electrode being fed with a DC voltage creates an electric field limiting the direction of flow of charge carriers within each micro LED and thereby improving performance.

A micro LED touch display pane of reduced thickness includes a substrate, a display driving layer, micro LEDs on the display driving layer, and common electrodes connecting to the micro LEDs. The micro LEDs are spaced apart from each other and coupled to the display driving layer. The common electrodes cover the micro LEDs. The touch display panel further includes first and second electrodes. The common electrodes and the first electrodes are defined in one layer, insulated from the second electrodes. The first electrodes and the second electrodes cooperatively form mutual-capacitance touch sensing structures.

A pixel unit structure of an organic light emitting diode display panel includes a switch transistor, a storage capacitor configured to receive a discharging reference voltage, an organic light emitting diode, a driving transistor, a first control circuit, and a second control circuit. The organic light emitting diode is controlled by the driving transistor and the first control circuit to emit light. The scan signal, the first control signal, the second control signal, and the discharging reference voltage control the pixel unit to operate in a plurality of time events repeating in sequence.

A display device comprised of OLEDs and micro LEDs which allows for blue light degradation of the OLEDs includes a first substrate and a second substrate in a double-decked configuration. First light emitting elements are located and spaced on the first substrate and second light emitting elements are located and spaced on the second substrate, the light emitting elements on the lower deck being staggered so as not to be hidden by the light emitting elements on the upper deck. The upper deck has openings (or is transparent) therein to allow egress of light from the light emitting elements of the lower deck. The display device provides a solution for uneven display cause by degradation of pixels.

An LCD panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a plurality of spacers extending from the first substrate to the second substrate. Each spacer is positioned in the liquid crystal layer and has a height less than a thickness of the liquid crystal layer. No electrode for sensing touches is formed on the first substrate. The second substrate has a plurality of first touch sensor electrodes and a plurality of second touch sensor electrodes corresponding to the plurality of spacers. The first touch sensor electrodes and the second touch sensor electrodes cooperatively form a capacitive touch sensing structure. The spacers move towards the second substrate when the LCD panel is being touched.
