A method for detecting object border of 3D printer () includes following steps: obtaining a basic locating point () of a printing platform () of the 3D printer (); projecting an imported 3D object onto a 2D plane of the 3D printer () for obtaining a plurality of 2D coordinates of the 3D object; calculating a 2D convex hull () according to the plurality of 2D coordinates; obtaining all vertexes () of the 2D convex hull (); determining the position of the 3D object based on the basic locating point () in company with all the vertexes () of the 2D convex hull (); and, permitting the 3D printer () to activate a printing procedure only if the 3D object is determined fully locating inside an effective range of the printing platform ().

Method for detecting object border of 3D printer

A three dimensional structure including a casing and a plurality of filling members is provided. The casing has a first opening. The filling members are disposed inside of the casing for supporting the casing, such that a plurality of hollow portions is defined by the casing and the filling members. The first opening connects between one of the hollow portions and the external environment, and the filling member located between two adjacent hollow portions has at least one second opening for connecting the two adjacent hollow portions. A three dimensional printing method is also provided.

Three dimensional printing method

A three dimensional printing apparatus is provided. The three-dimensional printing apparatus includes a tank, a rotatable platform, a light source module and a controller. The rotatable platform is elevatably disposed above the tank, and the light module is disposed under the tank. When the controller controls the rotatable platform elevating to a height along an axis direction, the controller controls the rotatable platform rotating a plurality of rotating angles in sequence around the axis direction and controls the light source module irradiating liquid-formation material, so as to sequentially solidify a plurality of object sections of a single layer object.
