Disclosed is a solenoid valve for controlling a flow rate of a flow path connecting a first port to a second port, the solenoid valve including: a valve housing installed in a modulator block; an armature disposed inside the valve housing and reciprocating in an axial direction thereof to adjust a flow rate of a working fluid; and a first elastic member having a damper part, which is inserted between the magnet core and the armature, and providing the armature with an elastic force in a direction opposed to a driving force of the magnet core.

Solenoid valve for brake system

Disclosed is a piston pump for a brake system installed in a bore of a modulator block communicating with an inlet port and a discharge port, wherein the piston pump includes: a cylinder unit provided to reciprocate within the bore; a piston unit having one end fixed and the other end dividing the inside of the cylinder unit into a first chamber and a second chamber and configured to expand or reduce the internal spaces of the first chamber and the second chamber by reciprocating movement of the cylinder unit; a first inlet valve installed in the cylinder unit to open and close an one-way flow of fluid from the inlet port to the first chamber; a second inlet valve installed in the cylinder unit to open and close an one-way flow of fluid from the inlet port to the second chamber; and an outlet valve to open and close an one-way flow of fluid from the first chamber or the second chamber to the discharge port.

Piston pump for brake system

An integrated solenoid valve and a brake system using the same are disclosed. The integrated solenoid valve includes an armature, an elastic member, a magnet core, an orifice unit, a filter member, a lip seal, a bidirectional passage, and a unidirectional passage. The armature is disposed in a sleeve, moves upward and downward in an axial direction, and opens or closes an orifice of a seat disposed at a lower side thereof. The elastic member provides elastic force to the armature in a closing direction of the orifice. The magnet core provides drive force to the armature in a direction opposite to that of the elastic member. The orifice unit is coupled to a lower side of the seat, and includes not only a hollow hole communicating with the orifice of the seat but also a passage hole. The filter member prevents inflow of foreign materials. The lip seal is inserted between the orifice unit and the filter member, and includes an inclined protrusion. The bidirectional passage is opened or closed by the armature moving up and down. The unidirectional passage is formed to pass through the passage hole and an outer surface of the inclined protrusion.

Integrated solenoid valve and brake system using the same

A simulator valve and an electronic brake system using the same are disclosed. The electronic brake system includes a master cylinder provided with at least one cylinder chamber having a volume changeable according to operation of a pedal, a pedal simulator connected to the cylinder chamber, configured to provide reaction force corresponding to a pedal effort of the pedal, a hydraulic-pressure supply device configured to provide hydraulic pressure to at least one wheel cylinder, an electronic control unit (ECU) configured to operate the hydraulic-pressure supply device, and a simulator valve provided in a flow passage through which the master cylinder is connected to the pedal simulator, and provided with a unidirectional flow passage that allows fluid to flow from the pedal simulator to the cylinder chamber and a bidirectional flow passage that is electronically opened or closed.

Simulator valve and electronic brake system using the same

Provided is a check valve installed in a bore of a modulator block having an inlet path and an outlet path to control a flow of oil in one direction, the check valve including: a valve housing provided with a path hole passing through at a central portion thereof to have an upper end and a lower end thereof open to communicate with the inlet path and the outlet path, and a flange portion protruding from a circumference of an outer surface of the valve housing such that the valve housing is fixed to the bore; a spring retainer coupled to one of the open upper and lower ends of the valve housing which is adjacent to the outlet path, and having an outlet port communicating with the outlet path; a plunger movably installed in the path hole while being elastically supported by a spring supported on the spring retainer, and configured to open or close the path hole according to an up and down movement of the plunger; and a lip seal having a lip portion interposed between the plunger and the valve housing to prevent oil from flowing backward toward the inlet path from the outlet path.

Check valve

Disclosed is a solenoid valve which is installed in a bore of a modulator block having a first hydraulic port and a second hydraulic port to control a flow of a braking fluid. The solenoid valve can reduce the number of components by integrating the components and implement a check valve function.

Disclosed is a solenoid valve for a brake system, the solenoid valve including a magnet core that is provided in a cylindrical shape, is installed in a bore of a modulator block, and has a through-hole opening in a lengthwise direction thereof and a radial direction passage communicating with the through-hole; an armature that is installed at one end of the magnet core so as to be reciprocated; a valve seat that is provided at the other end of the magnet core and has an orifice; a plunger that is inserted into the through-hole and performs a sliding motion by the armature to open and close the orifice; a sleeve that is fixed to the bore while accommodating the armature and the magnet core; and a return spring that is provided to apply an elastic restorative force to the plunger to open the orifice, wherein a passage hole is provided in a spiral shape along the through-hole at an inner circumferential surface of the magnet core to discharge air between the magnet core and the plunger and air between the magnet core and the armature.

Disclosed herein is a brake system capable of reducing periodic pressure pulsation generated by operation of a pump. The brake system includes a damper member provided with a cylinder having a step portion and a piston to reciprocate between the cylinder and the cap. The piston may be prevented from being excessively pushed toward one side of the damper member, and pressure pulsation generated by operation of the pump may be attenuated. Therefore, overall operating noise may be reduced during control the brake and product reliability may be increased.

Brake system

There is provided a pressure damping device for a brake system. The damping device includes a cylindrical housing that is fixed to the oil passage, includes a first liquid pressure hole and a second liquid pressure hole respectively communicating with a main oil passage of the first and second hydraulic circuits, and is opened on one side thereof, a lid member that is coupled so as to close the opened one side of the housing, first and second pistons that are spaced apart from each other and move forward and backward within the housing, and a spring that is interposed between the first and second pistons to provide an elastic force to the first and second pistons. Here, a sealing member is provided on an outer circumferential surface of each piston so that a space between the first and second pistons is sealed, and an air damping space whose volume is changed in accordance with a pressure of a liquid pressure is provided between the first and second pistons.

Pressure damping device for brake system

There is provided a pressure damping device for a brake system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an air damping space whose volume is changed in accordance with pressure is provided in an oil passage for connecting two hydraulic circuits, thereby reducing a pressure pulsation generated by a liquid pressure.

Disclosed is a check valve of a hydraulic brake system. The check valve includes a valve housing which includes a tapered front end having a smaller diameter than a middle end, the cylindrical middle end extending from the front end by a predetermined length to allow the ball and spring to be accommodated within the middle end, a rear end stepped from the middle end to have a greater diameter than the middle end, and a flange circumferentially bent from the rear end to have a greater diameter than the rear end, and a valve seat having an outer diameter equal to an inner diameter of the rear end so as to be press-fitted into the rear end of the valve housing. The check valve having a simplified configuration achieves size and weight reduction and is manufactured at low cost and high processing efficiency using pressing.

Check valve of hydraulic brake system

A solenoid valve for a brake system capable of being easily manufactured with reduced manufacturing costs is disclosed. A valve seat member has an inner passage formed through the valve seat member in a longitudinal direction thereof, an outer passage formed on an outer surface of the valve seat member in the longitudinal direction, and a seat portion formed with a first orifice above the inner passage. The seat portion is formed unitarily with the valve seat member. A sleeve is coupled on the outer surface of the valve seat member. The sleeve has a flange portion to be fixed to a modulator block. A valve core is coupled to a portion of the sleeve, opposite to the flange portion. An armature is slidably mounted in the sleeve. The armature has an opening/closing portion to open or close the first orifice. A restoring spring presses the armature toward the first orifice.

A valve for an anti-lock brake system is capable of reducing the cost of production through structural improvement of a valve housing. The valve includes a valve core, an armature located below the valve core and having a ball, a cylindrical sleeve coupled to the valve core and armature and guiding the armature to move backward and forward, a first elastic member installed between the valve core and the armature, a valve housing coupled to the sleeve and having a longitudinal hollow space, a seat plunger movably installed in the hollow space and having a first orifice, a second elastic member installed between the seat plunger and the valve housing, a seat having an outlet and a second orifice that communicates with the first orifice, and a seat housing coupled to the valve housing and the seat, supporting the valve housing and the seat spaced apart from each other, and having an inlet between the valve housing and the seat.

Valve for anti-lock brake system

A solenoid valve for a brake system enabling miniaturization of the valve and having an improved configuration to facilitate assembly and production of the valve. The solenoid valve includes an armature provided at one end thereof with an opening/closing member, a valve housing including a hollow first valve block fixed in a modulator block and a second valve block disposed below the first valve block and having an inlet for introduction of fluid, a valve seat installed in the first valve block and having a flow-hole to be opened or closed by the opening/closing member and a hollow extending longitudinally from the flow-hole, and an orifice sleeve located in the second valve block to define a fluid discharge passage and having an orifice formed in one end thereof to communicate with the hollow of the valve seat.

Disclosed is a valve for an anti-lock brake system, in which a sleeve sheet is assembled with a lower portion of a valve housing, so that the external shape and the structure of the valve are simplified. The valve includes a valve core; an armature positioned below the valve core and provided at an end thereof with a ball; a cylindrical sleeve coupled with outer peripheral surfaces of the valve core and the armature to guide an up/down movement of the armature; a first elastic member installed between the valve core and the armature; a valve housing coupled to one end of the cylindrical sleeve and formed therein with a hollow section that extends lengthwise along the valve housing; a valve seat press-fitted into the hollow section and formed with a first orifice which is open/closed by the ball; and a filter seat press-fitted into the valve housing and provided with an inlet and an outlet, which are positioned at a circumferential portion and a lower portion of the filter seat, respectively.
