A receptacle electrical connector has an insulated housing, a first terminal set, a second terminal set, a shielding plate and a metallic shell. The shielding plate has two connection portions formed respectively on two opposite sides of the shielding plate and each connection portion has a cutting surface. The cutting surface is formed on the connection portion, and the two cutting surfaces of the connection portions are exposed out of two opposite sides of the insulated housing. During the insert-molding processes of insulated housings, the connection beltings of metallic beltings are connected to the cutting surfaces of multiple shielding plates for simultaneously forming multiple insulated housings. Therefore, production efficiency and yield rate of the receptacle electrical connectors are enhanced.

Receptacle electrical connector for improving manufacturing process efficiency

An electrical receptacle connector has an insulated housing. A first terminal set and a second terminal set are held in the insulated housing. The first terminal set has two first grounding terminals, two first power terminals and multiple signal terminals. Each one of the terminals of the first terminal set has a first soldering section. The second terminal set has two second grounding terminals, two second power terminals and multiple signal terminals. Each one of the terminals of the second terminal set has a second soldering section. The second soldering sections of the second grounding terminals are located next to the first soldering sections of the first grounding terminals. The second soldering sections of the second power terminals are located next to the first soldering sections of the first power terminals. A soldering process of the connecter is improved by clustering the grounding terminals and the power terminals.

Electrical receptacle connector

A reinforced electrical receptacle connector has an insulated housing, a first terminal set, a second terminal set, a shielding plate and a shell. The insulated housing has a base and a tongue formed on the base. The shielding plate is embedded in the insulated housing and has two corner reinforcing tabs are formed on respectively on two front corners of the shielding plate. Each corner reinforcing tab has a front edge being flush with the front edge of the tongue and an outside edge being flush with one of the outside edges of the tongue. The shell accommodates the insulated housing. The front corners of the shielding plate are substantially hidden in the front corners of the tongue, which prevents inadvertent rupture at the front corners.
