An organic light emitting device is provided. The organic light emitting device includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer and a light emitting material layer. The second electrode layer is disposed opposite to the first electrode layer. The light emitting material layer is disposed between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer, and includes an organic light emitting material and an electron transport material, wherein the electron transport material includes a compound represented by a formula (1) below: 

Electron transport material and organic light emitting device

A white organic light-emitting diode (WOLED) includes a transparent electrode, a blue-complementary light-emitting layer, a translucent electrode, a blue light-emitting layer, and a non-transparent electrode. The blue-complementary light-emitting layer is disposed on the transparent electrode. The transparent electrode and the translucent electrode include a first voltage. The blue light-emitting layer is disposed on the translucent layer. The non-transparent electrode is disposed on the blue light-emitting layer. The translucent electrode and the non-transparent electrode include a second voltage.

White organic light-emitting diode

A flexible touch display apparatus includes a flexible substrate, a display unit, a flexible insulation layer and a touch sensor layer. The display unit is disposed on the flexible substrate, the flexible insulation layer is disposed on the display unit, and the touch sensor layer is formed on the flexible insulation layer. The flexible touch display apparatus is light in weight, thin in thickness, flexible and unbreakable.

Flexible touch display apparatus

A white organic electroluminescent element for an organic electroluminescent display and a display using the white organic electroluminescent are provided. The organic electroluminescent display comprises a white organic electroluminescent element and a color filter. The white organic electroluminescent element comprises an anode, a cathode, a capping layer, and an organic layer. The capping layer is disposed on the cathode. The organic layer is disposed between the anode and the cathode, and comprises a blue light emitting layer. The thickness of the organic layer is X+120N nm, wherein 85&#x2266;X&#x2266;125, and N=0, 1, or 2. The white organic electroluminescent element is configured to emit a white light. The color filter is configured to convert the white light to a first color beam, with the first color beam being either red, blue, or green.

White organic electroluminescent elements and displays using the same

An organic electroluminescence device including a substrate, an organic emitting device layer, a circuit board, a sealant and an electrical bonding layer is provided. The organic emitting device layer is on the substrate and has a first electrode layer, an emitting layer and a second electrode layer. The first electrode layer is disposed on the substrate, the emitting layer is disposed on the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer is disposed on the emitting layer. The circuit board is disposed over the substrate and covers the organic emitting device layer. The sealant is disposed between the substrate and the circuit board to seal the circuit board on the substrate. The electrical bonding layer is disposed between the substrate and the circuit board to electrically connect the circuit board and the first electrode layer of the organic emitting device layer.

Organic electroluminescence device and electronic device having the same

An electroluminescent display comprises a substrate with a plurality of pixel regions, wherein each pixel region has a first sub-pixel region, a second sub-pixel region, and a third sub-pixel region. Pluralities of first color light-emitting layers, second color light-emitting layers, and third color light-emitting layers are formed on the substrate. Each first color light-emitting layer is disposed in one first sub-pixel region, and each second color light-emitting layer is disposed in two adjacent second sub-pixel regions. The area of the first sub-pixel region is larger than the area of the second sub-pixel region in a single pixel region.

Electro-luminescence display

An organic electroluminescence structure comprises a first substrate, an organic electroluminescence device, and a control device. Forming either a lifting layer under the control device or a recess under the organic electroluminescence device, or forming both of them, creates a difference between their tops, in order to reduce the dark spots and promote the yield of the end product. The lifting layer preferably has a thickness greater than about 0.5 micro meters and the recess has a depth ranges of about 0.1 micro meters to about 100 micro meters. Alternatively, the height difference between the upper surfaces of the control device and the organic electroluminescence device is controlled to be greater than about 2 micro meters or substantially equal to 2 micro meters.

A self-illumination display is provided, including a first substrate, a light-absorbing structure, a filter layer, a driving circuit unit, and a self-illumination unit. The light-absorbing structure and the filter layer are juxtaposedly disposed over the first substrate. The driving circuit unit is disposed over and shielded by the light-absorbing structure. The self-illumination unit is disposed over the filter layer, including a light-transmissible electrode, a light emitting layer, and a black electrode. The self-illumination unit is disposed over the filter layer, including a light-transmissible electrode, a light emitting layer, and a black electrode. The light-transmissible electrode is disposed over the filter layer while the light emitting layer and the black electrode are sequentially tiered on the light-transmissible electrode. The light-absorbing structure, the filter layer and the black electrode together reduce the reflection of the ambient light and enhance the image contrast.

Pixel unit structure of self-illumination display with low-reflection

A self-emissive display device. The display device comprises a substrate having a pixel region for displaying one of the primary colors. An organic electroluminescent multi-layer structure is disposed in the pixel region of the substrate. The organic electroluminescent multi-layer structure comprises a first micro-cavity portion and a second micro-cavity portion adjacent thereto. The first micro-cavity portion comprises an organic layer for light-emitting and a first film for determining light wavelength shift of the first micro-cavity portion. The second micro-cavity portion comprises the organic layer for light-emitting and a second film for determining light wavelength shift of the second micro-cavity portion. The first and second films have different optical lengths, such that the first and second micro-cavity portions provide opposite directions of the light wavelength shift.

Organic light emitting device comprising microcavity portions containing films with different optical lengths

A tandem organic electroluminescent device. The tandem organic electroluminescent device comprises a substrate having a pixel thin film transistor. A rib with chambered corners is formed on the substrate, surrounding a display region. A protrusion is formed in the display region. A plurality of organic light emitting diodes is stacked vertically in the display region, covering the protrusion, wherein each organic light emitting diode comprises a top electrode, an organic electroluminescent layer, and a bottom electrode. The bottom electrode of the bottommost organic light emitting diode is electrically connected to the pixel thin film transistor. A common electrode electrically connected to the top electrode of the topmost organic light emitting diode directly over the protrusion.

Tandem organic electroluminescent device

An organic electroluminescent device comprises a first electrode, an organic color conversion layer, a carrier transport layer, an emissive layer, and a second electrode. The organic color conversion layer is disposed over the first electrode. The carrier transport layer is disposed over the organic color conversion layer. The emissive layer is disposed over the carrier transport layer. The second electrode is disposed over the emissive layer.

Organic electroluminescent device

A method of determining driving signals for a four-color organic electroluminescence device is provided. The driving signals are for displaying a predetermined color. A three-color organic electroluminescence device is a reference. The method comprises: a) defining a value of a white signal equal to the lowest value of a red reference signal, a green reference signal and a blue reference signal; b) defining a value of a red signal equal to the value difference between the red reference signal and the white signal, defining a value of a green signal equal to the value difference between the green reference signal and the white signal, defining a value of a blue signal equal to the value difference between the blue reference signal and the white signal; and c) adjusting the values of the red signal, the green signal or the blue signal for compensating color shifting.

Method of determining OLED driving signal

A double sided display comprises a first substrate, a first organic light-emitting device (OLED) disposed on the first substrate, a first spacer, a second substrate, a second OLED disposed on the second substrate and a second spacer. The first and second spacers are disposed on the first and second substrates, and close to the first and second OLEDs, respectively. A height of the first spacer is larger than a thickness of the first OLED. A height of the second spacer is larger than a thickness of the second OLED. During assembly, the first substrate is disposed opposite to the second substrate, and the first spacer is disposed opposite to the second spacer. Also, the exact positions of the first and second spacers are determined for preventing the direct touch between the first and second OLEDs while the double sided display is deformed.
