An electrode structure adapted for high applied voltage is provided, which comprises a conductive plate substrate and a covering layer disposed thereon such that a covering percentage of the covering layer over the conductive plate substrate is more than 50%. Since area of the conductive plate substrate covered by the covering layer is larger than the area exposed, the possibility of arcing is reduced and the breakdown voltage applied to the electrode structure may be increased.

Electrode structure adapted for high applied voltage and fabrication method thereof

A rotator for a twister for twisting yarn at more than two double twists for each rotation is provided. The rotator includes a rotating member, a stationary member and a tubular rod coupled together. Between a center rod and a point in an L-shaped passageway in the rotator and a bending point at a small guide wheel is produced respectively double twists to the yarn. A rectangular frame of the rotator member rotates with the rotator member so as to force the portion of yarn between a top hole in the frame and the bending corner of the L-shaped passageway to produce more double twists. Thus, at least two double twists are produced for each rotation of the rotator member to increase the speed of twisting yarn.

Rotator for a twister

A selvage forming and cord catching device for use in a loom includes a base adapted to be secured to the loom and has two planetary gear systems mounted on it. Each of the planetary gear systems has two planetary gears orbiting about a central axis. A cylindrical yarn guide member is secured at the center of each of the planetary gears to allow yarn to extend through the center of each of the planetary gears. The yarn is brought through a guide arm mounted on each of the planetary gears in an eccentric manner so that when the planetary gears rotate, the yarn passing out of each of the planetary gears of each of the planetary gear systems are fed to the loom in an inter-crossing and inter-winding manner to wind around each other. The yarn from one of the planetary gear systems is fed to the loom to form the selvage. The yarn from the other one of the planetary gear systems is brought to a particular position to pinch therebetween the excessive length of the wefts and carry away the excessive length of the wefts after such is cut by scissors.
