An optical transceiver includes an input assembly, an output port, a fiber patch panel, multiple first optical fibers and multiple second optical fibers. The input assembly is arranged on a circuit board and has a first input port and a second input port. The fiber patch panel is arranged between the input assembly and the output port, and has multiple first fiber patch slots and multiple second fiber patch slots. The first optical fibers are connected to the first input port and the output port. The first optical fiber passes through the first fiber patch slot and the second fiber patch slot. The second optical fibers are connected to the second input port and the output port. The second optical fiber passes through the first fiber patch slot and the second fiber patch slot. The second fiber patch slot accommodates the first optical fiber and the second optical fiber.

A boost converter includes an inductor and a diode electrically connected in series between an input voltage and an output voltage; a transistor electrically coupled to an interconnected node of the inductor and the diode; and a controller that controls switching of the transistor according to a transient mode and an estimated load current. The output voltage in a light-to-heavy load transient mode has at least one first valley point with a value of a transient voltage threshold, followed by at least one second valley point with a value higher than the first valley point, before exiting the light-to-heavy load transient mode.

A disturbance source positioning method for positioning disturbance sources in a system including a plurality of nodes is provided. The method includes the following steps: grouping the plurality of nodes into a plurality of node groups based on an oscillation feature; establishing an in-group causality of the plurality of node groups based on a successive order of a coherent oscillation component; selecting at least one candidate group from the plurality of node groups based on the in-group causality; and positioning at least one disturbance source node in each candidate group.

A radar system having a vehicle assist function with a field of view greater than 160 degrees is provided. The radar system includes antenna boards and a processing unit. The antenna board includes multiple antennas disposed thereon and transmitting a detection signal to detect an obstacle outside the vehicle, and then receiving a reflected signal, generated by the detection signal reflected by the obstacle. Therefore, the single radar system is enough for the vehicle assist function, and the transmitting and receiving antennas are disposed on the antenna board. The processing unit can directly analyze the reflected signal to determine a distance between the obstacle and the vehicle, and perform different vehicle assist functions having different warning distances, and when the distance between the obstacle and the vehicle is lower than one of the warning distances, the processing unit outputs a warning message to warn a driver.

A training task optimization system includes a processor. The processor is configured to receive training environment information of a training task. The training environment information at least carries information corresponding to training samples in the training task. The processor is configured to calculate a memory distribution for the training task based on memory factors, the training samples and a neural network, and select a mini-batch size that is fit to the memory distribution. In response to the training environment information, the processor is configured to output the mini-batch size for execution of the training task.

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a film. 50 wt % to 85 wt % of a first polyester and 50 wt % to 15 wt % of a second polyester are dried and mixed to form a mixture. The first polyester is polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene naphthalate (PEN), or combinations thereof. The second polyester is copolymerized of 1 part by mole of terephthalic acid, m parts by mole of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (1,4-CHDM), n parts by mole of 1,3-cyclohexanedimethanol (1,3-CHDM), and o parts by mole of ethylene glycol (EG). m+n+o=1, 0&#x2264;o&#x2264;0.4, 0.6&#x2264;m+n&#x2264;1, and 0.06&#x2264;n/m&#x2264;1.31. The mixture is melted and blended to form a polyester composition, which is extruded to form a sheet. The sheet is then biaxially stretched to obtain a film. The biaxially stretched film is then treated with a thermal setting.

A parameter tuning method of an unknown proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is provided. The unknown PID controller is replaced with the control algorithm of the generic controller to perform the optimal parameter tuning to obtain the target parameter of the generic controller. The unknown PID controller is set with a first parameter group so that the corresponding input signal, the control signal and the output signal are measured for performing the parameter identification procedure of the generic controller to obtain a second parameter group of the generic controller. When the second parameter group is not within a specification range of the target parameter, the first parameter is re-calculated and modified by a direct search method in accordance with the difference between the second parameter group and the target parameter for setting the unknown PID controller again, and then the input signal, the control signal and the output signal are measured again.

A color conversion method for preferred color tones to change original color in a color image into a preferred one. The invention first sets chromaticity of the selecting original color and corresponding preferred color, then takes them as the basic points to establish a tone action space of the two color according to a color tone action distance. The two spaces are then joined to form a color conversion space and to determine a vector from the original color to the preferred color for converting the colors in the color conversion space into the new color. Finally, the color conversions from the original color to the new color are made to generate a new color image with the preferred color tone. The invention only converts the original colors in the color conversion space into new colors to get a new color image with preferred color tones. The selecting original color and corresponding preferred color pair can be plural in the invention.

The present invention provides a method for processing tone scale of a digital color image in which the histogram of tone scales (for example, of RGB, YCC, Lab or Luv) is considered for deciding the semi-S curve. The semi-S curve suits the digital color image and improves the brightness contrast and color saturation for the image output device. A weighting procedure can also be used for compensating those high occurrence colors in the image, and rearrange and analysis the histogram of tone scale, so as to decrease the influence of the high occurrence colors to the calculation and process of tone scale.

An image-splitting color meter. The image-splitting color meter is added at an entrance pupil of a light coming from an observing object to obtain a high uniformity and a high efficiency. The image-splitting device can split the entrance pupil into several partitions for light splitting and color filtering. The split light beams are then converged and focused onto a photodetective plane.

An optical scanning system uses a multiple synchronizing sensing device to device a row of modulated signals into multiple blocks so that the effect of velocity jitter of a polygon scanning mirror is evenly distributed on each zone. In this manner, the influence of printing quality by the velocity jitter is reduced. For instance, the multiple synchronizing sensing device is provided with twenty sensing elements, the influence of the velocity jitter is lessened to be one twenth time as much as its original value. Therefore, the cost is greatly lowered by applying the system of the present invention to a high resolution optical scanning device which utilizes a polygon scanning mirror of less precision.
