The present invention relates to a ball structure and a method for making the same. The ball structure includes an inner bladder and a plurality of covers. The covers surround the inner bladder. Each of the covers includes a base fabric and a resin layer. The resin layer has a recess portion at the periphery of the cover, so that the recess portions of adjacent covers defines a groove. The base fabric includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion corresponds to the recess portion, and the second portion is away from the recess portion. The thickness of the first portion is substantially equal to the thickness of the second portion.

Ball structure and method for making the same

The present invention relates to a ball structure and method for making the same. The ball structure includes an inner bladder and a plurality of covers. The covers surround the inner bladder. Each of the covers includes a base fabric layer, a middle layer and a surface layer. The middle layer is formed from a first polyurethane (PU) solution. A PU solid content of the first PU solution is greater than 70 wt %. The middle layer is a foamed layer, and a porosity thereof is 25% to 85%. The surface layer is formed from a second polyurethane (PU) solution. A PU solid content of the second PU solution is 5 wt % to 20 wt %.

A multi-layered material and a method for making the same are provided. The multi-layered material includes a first foamed layer, a substrate, a second foamed layer, and a surface layer. The first foamed layer has a plurality of first cells. The substrate is a fabric. The second foamed layer has a plurality of second cells. The foaming method of the second foamed layer is different from that of the first foamed layer. The size of the second cells is different from that of the first cells. The variation in size of the second cells is different from that of the first cells. The surface layer is disposed on the second foamed layer. Thus, when the multi-layered material is used as a surface cover of a ball, it can provide excellent resilience and control, and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Multi-layered material and a method for making the same

In a method for making extensible artificial leather, a substrate is supported on in-extensible woven cloth and firmly located on a coating machine. A highly solid-containing water-based polyurethane resin is coated on the substrate to form a middle layer with tiny open cells. The middle layer is dried, and the woven cloth is removed from the substrate. A superficial layer of polyurethane is attached to the middle layer in a dry process so that the extensible artificial leather is made with excellent strength against peeling, abrasion and dissolution.
