An electronic paper (E-paper) display device includes a first substrate comprising at least one side wall having a high reflectance film coated thereon, an E-paper layer, and a second substrate. A light source installed beside and facing the at least one sidewall of the first substrate, the light source being configured for illuminating the E-paper layer with some of the light from the light source directly illuminating the E-paper layer and some of the light from the light source illuminating the E-paper layer via the reflection of the high reflectance film.

Electronic paper display device

A cover for mounting to a Universal Serial Bus (USB) electronic device, the USB electronic device includes a shell defining an opening and a USB connector exposed at the opening. The USB connector includes a GND pin and an ID pin. The cover includes a main body and an elastomeric push button; the main body engagably attaches to the shell and covers the opening; the elastomeric push button is formed on the main body and is configured for powering on or off the USB electronic device; the elastomeric push button includes two metal pins connected with each other and configured for short-circuiting the GND pin to the ID pin when the elastomeric push button is depressed.

USB connector cover and electronic device using the same

An electrophoretic display device includes a common electrode, an electrophoresis layer, and pixel electrodes. The electrophoretic layer includes cavities, with each cavity arranged between one of the pixel electrodes and the common electrode, and comprises suspension fluid, first type charged particles, and second type charged particles. The first type charged particles and the second type charged particles are dispersed in the suspension fluid. Three cavities constitute a pixel unit. The first type charged particles and the second type charged particles in each of the three cavities constituting the pixel unit are one of red, green, and blue particles, and one of yellow, magenta, and cyan particles, respectively.

Electrophoretic display device

An electrophoretic display device includes pixel electrodes, a transparent electrode, and an electrophoretic ink layer including cavities. Each cavity is arranged between one of the pixel electrodes and the transparent electrode, and each cavity comprises suspension fluid, charged particles, and neutral particles, the charged particles and neutral particles being dispersed in the suspension fluid. The neutral particles are dispersed in the center of the cavities and substantially stationary, and the charged particles are capable of moving through the suspension fluid. Application of an electric field to a pixel electrode and the transparent electrode causes a migration of the charged particles of a cavity connected to the pixel electrode and a corresponding color becomes viewable.

A color electroluminescent (EL) display device comprises a transparent substrate, and a transparent electrode arranged on the transparent substrate. The EL display also includes an electroluminescent layer arranged on the transparent electrode that comprises a plurality of pixel units. Each pixel unit comprises at least two regions comprising electroluminescent materials capable of emitting light of different colors. The EL display further comprises a plurality of opposing electrodes arranged on the electroluminescent layer. Each of the opposing electrodes cooperates with the transparent electrode to apply a voltage to one of the at least two regions of each pixel unit.

Electroluminescent display device

An electrophoretic paper device is provided. The electrophoretic paper device includes a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged on a lower substrate. The electrophoretic paper device also includes an upper substrate having a common electrode that covers an entire area corresponding to a display surface. The electrophoretic paper device further includes an electrophoretic ink layer, which includes a plurality of tubular cavities and each of the tubular cavities contains suspension fluid and a plurality of charged pigment particles dispersed in the suspension fluid.

Electrophoretic display

An electrophoretic display device includes a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged on a lower substrate, and an upper substrate having a common electrode that covers an entire area corresponding to a display surface. The electrophoretic display device further includes an electrophoretic ink layer having a plurality of cavities. Each of the cavities contains suspension fluid and a plurality of charged pigment particles dispersing in the suspension fluid. The electrophoretic display device also includes a plurality of pixel units, each of which includes three of the plurality of cavities. Each of the three cavities contains the black particles and particles of the red particles, green particles, or blue particles, respectively.

A power-off circuit includes a power unit (), a power management unit (), an integrated circuit chip (IC chip,), a switching apparatus (), and a clamp circuit (). The switching apparatus produces and transmits a power-off instruction to the power management unit. The power management unit produces and transmits a power-off notice to the IC chip in accordance with the power-off instruction. And the IC chip feeds back a power-off affirmation in accordance with the power-off notice to the clamp circuit. The clamp circuit receives the power-off affirmation and produces and transmits interrupted power-off signals to the power management unit, till the power management unit completely cuts off power supplied from the power unit to the IC chip.

Power-off circuit

A file display system is provided. The file display system includes a MCU (), a display control unit () and a display unit (). The MCU receives power-on commands and power-off commands from a control unit (). According to the preferred embodiment, upon receiving a power-off command, the MCU reads a next page data content of a currently displayed page from a storage apparatus () and stores the next page data content in the display control unit; and upon receiving a following power-on command, the MCU enables the display control unit, and the display control unit controls the next page data content stored therein to be displayed on the display unit, the next page data content therefore becomes a currently displayed page. A related method is also provided.

File display system and method thereof

An input circuit shared by multi signal sources each of which outputting a type of signals includes a processing unit (). The processing unit includes a plurality of input pins () and an interrupt pin (), each of the input pins connecting with one or more of the signal sources and receiving signals from the signal sources. The input circuit further includes a tristate buffer () The tristate buffer includes an enable pin () enabling the tristate buffer upon receiving an enable signal, a plurality of input pins () connecting with one or more of the signal sources and receiving signals from the signal sources, and a plurality of output pins () connecting with the interrupt pin of the processing unit and producing an interrupt signal to the interrupt pin according to the signals received at the input pins. A related wake-up signal input circuit is also provided.
