An illumination system including a first light source device, a supplementary light source device, a light guide device, a light splitting device, and a light converging element is provided. The first light source device provides a first light beam, a second light beam, a third light beam, and a first compensation light beam. The supplementary light source device provides at least one compensation light beam. The light guide device comprises a first reflecting element comprising a first portion and a second portion. The light splitting device comprises a first half reflecting element located between the first light source device and the light guide device on a transmission path of the second light beam.

Illumination system and projection apparatus

An illumination system including a first light source device, a light guide device, a light splitting device, and a light converging element is provided. The first light source device provides first, second, and third light beams and a first compensation light beam. The light guide device reflects the first, second, and third light beams and the first compensation light beam. The light splitting device includes a first half reflecting element configured to reflect a part of a light beam and being pervious to another part of the light beam. The light converging element receives first and second combined light beams formed by the first, second, and third light beams and the first compensation light beam, where distances between light spots formed on the light converging element by the first and second combined light beams and a central axis of the light converging element are identical and greater than zero.

Illumination system and projection apparatus for enhancing uniformity of illumination light beams

An illumination system and a projection device are provided. The illumination system includes a light source device, a light homogenizing element, and a polarization element. The light source device is configured to provide first, second, third, and first compensation beams. The light homogenizing element is disposed on transmission paths of the first, second, and third beams and the first compensation beam and is configured to convert the first, second, and third beams and the first compensation beam into an illumination beam. The polarization element is disposed on the transmission paths of the first beam and the first compensation beam and located between the light source device and the light homogenizing element. The first beam and the first compensation beam pass through the polarization element to change polarization states of the first beam and the first compensation beam to be the same as polarization states of the second and third beams.

Illumination system and projection device

An illumination system, a wavelength conversion module, a projection apparatus and an illumination control method are provided. The illumination system includes excitation light source modules emitting excitation beams and a wavelength conversion module located on a transmission path of the excitation beams and including a substrate, a first region and a second region. The first and second regions are respectively located on a first surface and a second surface of the substrate. When the illumination system is in a high chroma illumination mode, one of the excitation light source modules provides the excitation beams to the first region, and the excitation beams form a first illumination beam through the first region. When the illumination system is in a high brightness illumination mode, one of the excitation light source modules provides the excitation beams to the second region, and the excitation beams form a second illumination beam through the second region.
