An electronic processor that may be configured to perform a first voiceprint analysis of first audio data of a first call from a first caller to determine a first voiceprint of the first caller, and determine that the first voiceprint matches a first previously-stored voiceprint. The first previously-stored voiceprint may identify and be associated with first previously-stored information regarding a previous call from the first caller that is anonymized so as not to include a name of the first caller or a phone number of the first caller. The electronic processor may also receive a permission command based on a user input from the first caller to indicate that a call taker handling the first call is allowed to have access to the first previously-stored information. The electronic processor may output the first previously-stored information on a call taker device in response to receiving the permission command.

Controlling access to historical call data

A process for providing relevant video content to members of a communication group. When a triggering event to provide video content to a plurality of members of a communication group is detected, an electronic computing device assigns a reviewer rank to each one of the plurality of members of the communication group based on a user context associated with the respective members. The device then selects a member with the assigned reviewer rank higher than the respectively assigned reviewer ranks of other members and further transmits a notification to the member requesting permission to provide the video content to the members of the communication group. When a response indicating permission is received from the communication device associated with the selected member, the device provides the video content to the members associated with the communication group.

A device, system and method for electronically requesting and storing missing digital evidentiary items is provided. A dashboard computing device: receives, from distinct jurisdictional agency computing devices, indications of jurisdictional digital evidentiary items associated with an incident; determines, based on an incident type of the incident, one or more offenses associated with the incident type; determines required digital evidentiary items to prosecute the offenses via a digital offenses-to-evidentiary-items mapping; identifies a missing digital evidentiary item for prosecuting the offenses by: comparing the indications of the jurisdictional digital evidentiary items with the required digital evidentiary items; identifies a jurisdictional agency, associated with one or more of the distinct jurisdictional agency computing devices, that is most likely to have access to the missing digital evidentiary item; and renders, at a display screen, an actuatable option for electronically requesting the missing digital evidentiary item from the jurisdictional agency.

Device, system and method for electronically requesting and storing missing digital evidentiary items

A method and device for performing push-to-talk and text communications. The device includes a display and an electronic processor communicatively coupled to the display. The electronic processor is configured to generate a graphical user interface, generate, on the display, a first push-to-talk button having a first dimension and located proximate to a conversation thread window including a historical view portion and a new-entry portion, and receive, on the display, a first user input selecting the new-entry portion. The electronic processor is further configured to generate on the display, in response to receiving the first user input, a text-entry portion, replace, in response to receiving the first user input, the first push-to-talk button with a second push-to-talk button at a same or different first location, receive, via the display, a second user input selecting the text-entry portion, and alter, in response to the second user input, the second push-to-talk button.

A device, system and method for adjusting volume on talkgroups is provided. A controller determines that a given user is communicating in a talkgroup that includes a plurality of participants different from the given user, the controller having access to a memory storing historical biometric data indicative of stress for the given user. When a comparison of current biometric data of the given user with the historical biometric data indicates that the given user is in a stressed state: differentially increasing volume, in the talkgroup, of one participant, of the plurality of participants, relative to other participants of the plurality of participants, based on context data of one or more of the talkgroup and the plurality of participants.
