Planter and package combination

A planter packaging arrangement is disclosed that comprises a packaging element and at least one planter mounter therein. The packaging element includes a bottom surface, a top surface and two pairs of opposing side walls collectively defining a generally enclosed space. A first opening is defined through the top surface and aligned with a second opening defined through the bottom surface of the packaging element. The at least one planter is mounted within the packaging element, with an open top end disposed within the enclosed space of the packaging element. The second opening is aligned with the open top end such that an interior of the planter is accessible through the second opening of the bottom surface of the packaging element. A portion of the body portion extends through the first opening of the top surface of the packaging element such that the bottom surface is disposed above the top surface.

Nesting packaging design for planters

An adjustable plant stand assembly is provided with a baseplate to support a planter. The baseplate has an overall profile. A plurality of upright supports is adjustably connected to the baseplate to support the baseplate above an underlying support surface, to expand relative to the baseplate to support planters of varying sizes, and to retract relative to the baseplate within the overall profile of the baseplate.

A molded pot is provided with imperfections manufactured by manufacturing mold tooling with imperfections by obtaining a handmade pot. The handmade pot is scanned to obtain geometric data. The geometric data is converted to mold tooling geometric data. Mold tooling is manufactured from the mold tooling geometric data. The handmade pot is obtained with imperfections. The handmade pot is scanned to obtain the geometric data of the handmade pot with the imperfections. The geometric data is converted to mold tooling geometric data with the imperfections. The mold tooling is manufactured with imperfections. A pot is molded with imperfections from the mold tooling.

Method for manufacturing mold tooling

A pot with a base is pivotally connected to, and supported upon a saucer. A cam surface is provided between the saucer and the pot so that rotation of the pot in a first rotary direction relative to the saucer extends the pot from the saucer, and rotation of the pot in a second rotary direction relative to the saucer retracts the pot to the saucer.

A watering assembly is provided. The watering assembly includes a reservoir body, a support assembly, a wicking assembly, and an inlet assembly. The reservoir body defines an enclosed space. The support assembly is structured to support soil. The support assembly is coupled to the reservoir body. The wicking assembly includes a number of wicking elements; the wicking elements are coupled to at least one of the reservoir body or support assembly. The wicking elements extend from the reservoir enclosed space to a location outside the reservoir enclosed space. The inlet assembly is coupled to the reservoir body and structured to provide fluid communication from a location outside the reservoir enclosed space to the reservoir enclosed space. When the reservoir body, the support assembly, the wicking assembly and the inlet assembly are assembled, the reservoir body, the support assembly, the wicking assembly and the inlet assembly form a contained watering assembly.
