A goggle lens suitable for golfers to wear all-weather and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The goggle lens comprises: a substrate, by weight, comprising: 1000 parts of resin, 0.038998 parts of yellow pigment, 0.041715 parts of green pigment, 0.014272 parts of blue pigment, 0.024569 parts of purple pigment, 0.0021 parts of orange pigment, and 0.010859 parts each of 580 nm light absorber and 490 nm light absorber; a high-reflection layer arranged on one surface of the substrate that is adapted to be away from eyes of the golfer; an anti-reflection layer arranged on another surface of the substrate that is adapted to be adjacent to the eyes of the golfer; two hardened layers arranged between the high-reflection layer and the substrate, and between the anti-reflection layer and the substrate; and one photocatalytic antibacterial layer; wherein a light transmittance of the goggle lens is between 27% and 29%.

There is provided a compound for use as material in cathode of a battery. The compound has i) at least sodium or ii) sodium and lithium as a first ingredient, copper as a second ingredient, at least a first transition metal in a third ingredient (M) selected from a group including manganese, nickel, iron, copper, zinc, chromium, vanadium, titanium, molybdenum and tungsten, niobium; and oxygen as a fourth ingredient; and wherein the compound has a chemical formula of NaCuMO, or LiNaCuMO.

A method for the growth of diamond on a substrate combines an ECR (Electron cyclotron resonance) MPCVD (Microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition) method with a MPCVD method in one system. A two-step diamond growing method comprises firstly etching and nucleation performed by the ECR method and then diamond grown by the microwave plasma CVD method. Not only are high quality continuous polycrystalline diamond films on silicon wafer obtained but also heteroepitaxial growth has been achieved in the present invention. Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy have been used to characterize the structure and morphology of the synthesized diamond films.

Deposition method for heteroepitaxial diamond

A method and an apparatus have been developed to deposit heteroepitaxial beta-silicon carbide films on silicon using bias-assisted hot filament chemical vapor deposition (BA-HFCVD). The apparatus includes a graphite plate as the carbon source and the silicon substrate as the silicon source. Hydrogen was the only feeding gas to the system.
