Provided is a formulation for oral teeth, which includes a plurality of calcium ion carriers and a plurality of calcium-containing particulates. The particulates are carried by the calcium ion carriers, such that the formulation can prevent or rapidly treat dentin-associated symptoms or diseases, while providing a prolonged prophylactic or therapeutic effect.

The present invention discloses a desensitizing toothpaste. Based on the total weight of the desensitizing toothpaste, the desensitizing toothpaste includes: from 5% to 40% by weight of DP-bioglass; from 1% to 5% by weight of thickening agents; from 25% to 35% by weight of humectant; and from 1% to 5% by weight of surfactant, wherein the DP-bioglass includes: 8.4% of NaO, 40.6% of CaO, 39% of SiO, and 12% of PObased on the total weight of the DP-bioglass. With the implementation of the present invention, the indication of dentin hypersensitivity can be greatly relieved.

The present invention provides a method of forming N-hydroxysuccinimide ester-functionalized paracyclophane. The present method is carried out by adding 4-carboxyl-paracyclophane into N,N'-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) and N-Hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) to form N-hydroxysuccinimide ester-functionalized paracyclophane. The present invention further provides a chemical film on a substrate and a method of forming the same, wherein the chemical film includes N-hydroxysuccinimide ester-functionalized poly-para-xylylene.

A non-alcohol mouthwash composition without chemical antibacterial medicament is disclosed. The non-alcohol mouthwash composition includes from 0.03% to 1.5% of &#x3b3;-polyglutamic acid (&#x3b3;-PGA) and from 0.5% to 4% of surfactant, all percentages based on the total weight of the mouthwash composition. The non-alcohol mouthwash composition preferably includes from 0.4% to 1.5% by weight, or more preferably from 0.8% to 1.3% by weight, of &#x3b3;-PGA. Containing no chemical antibacterial medicament, the non-alcohol mouthwash composition can effectively inhibit bacterial growth in the oral cavity without irritating the oral mucosa.

A system for evaluating cutting efficiency of root canal rotary instruments is provided. The system includes a root canal rotary instrument, a driving unit, a cutting object, a prestressing force providing unit and a feeding unit. The root canal rotary instrument is attached on the driving unit, and driven thereby. The cutting object is pressed by the prestressing force providing unit to contact the root canal rotary instrument. The feeding unit feeds the cutting object to the root canal rotary instrument, and the root canal rotary instrument cuts an uncut surface of the cutting object.

The present invention discloses a cone material in endodontic treatment. The cone material comprises a thermoplastic polyurethane and a filler. The thermoplastic polyurethane is formed by a. isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) or hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), b. poly(butyleneadipate) glycol (PBA) and c. chain extender, wherein the molar ratio of PBA and the diisocyanate is equal to or more than 0.8. By changing the molar composition of the components such as polyol and diisocyanate, physical and chemical property of the disclosed cone material in endodontic treatment can be adjusted.

The present invention discloses an endodontic sealer which comprises a urethane-monoacrylate oligomer, a diluting monomer, at least one photo-initiator, at least one thermal-initiator, and a filler, wherein the urethane-monoacrylate oligomer is obtained by firstly reacting the acrylate with the diisocyanate to form an intermediate with only one isocyanate group, and then reacting the intermediate with the polyol to form the desired urethane-monoacrylate oligomer.

A conveying device for testing heat dissipating fans, which is suitable for testing multiple heat dissipating fans at the same time, includes a base, a conveying unit, a plurality of movable loading tables, which are placed on the conveying unit, and a first and second conductor rail units, which are disposed under the respective movable loading table. The conveying unit further includes a conveying element and an actuating element, which actuates the conveying element to move. Each movable loading table further includes a support plate, a test circuit on the support plate and a first and second conductive plates, which are disposed at the bottom of the support plate and spaced apart from each other. The first and second conductor rail units have a locating plate and a plurality of micro conductor rails, which are provided on the locating plates and space from each other. The first and second conductor rail units in company with the conveying unit to allow the heat dissipating fans on the movable loading tables being delivered along with being performed operation test.

A test device for a heat dissipating fan, which is suitable for testing if the fan wheel is secured to the housing firmly, includes a support post, a transverse slide unit, which is disposed at the top of the support post and provides a transverse slide seat, a vertical slide unit, which is disposed at the transverse slide seat and provides a vertical slide seat. Further, the test device provides a clamping unit, a suction unit and a sensing element, which are moved with the vertical slide seat. The clamping unit clamps the housing and the suction unit absorbs the fan wheel. The heat dissipating fan is admitted in case of the sensing unit sensing the fan wheel being incapable of moving upward under the suction force and is carried away by the transverse slide unit in case of the sensing unit sensing the fan wheel being capable of moving upward under the suction force.

The invention provides a fiber-optic sensing system for measuring a curvature in a small and elongated cavity of an object. The system includes a light source, an optical fiber and a light signal reflecting device disposed at a distal end of the optical fiber. The optical source emits a light signal into the optical fiber. The distal section of the optical fiber is inserted into the cavity of the object which curvature is to be measured. The curvature of the cavity bends the distal section of the optical fiber so that attenuation of light signal transmitting through the distal section occurs. This attenuated signal is reflected by a reflecting device and coupled into a measuring device. Thereby the curvature is deduced in accordance with the amount of energy attenuation in the reflected light signal.
