A key structure including a carrier, a keycap, a lifting member, and an elastic member is provided. The carrier includes a carrier body and multiple positioning hooks. The carrier body has multiple vias, and the positioning hooks are respectively disposed corresponding to the vias. Orthographic projection of each of the positioning hooks falls in the corresponding via. Each of the positioning hooks includes a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion respectively connected to two inner wall surfaces in the corresponding via. The keycap is disposed above the carrier body. The lifting member is disposed between the carrier body and the keycap. One end of the lifting member is connected to the keycap, and an other end of the lifting member is connected to the positioning hooks. The elastic member is disposed between the carrier body and the keycap.

Key structure

A key module includes a base plate, a circuit layer and a lifting mechanism. The circuit layer is disposed on the base plate. The lifting mechanism is pivotally connected with the base plate relative to the circuit layer, and the lifting mechanism has an abutment element. The abutment element could interfere with the circuit layer to reduce the noise generated by the key module during operation.

Key module

A key assembly includes a bottom plate, a keycap disposed on the bottom plate, an elastic member disposed between the bottom plate and the keycap, a link member, and a protruding member. The keycap has an inner surface facing the bottom plate and includes a link member pivoting portion protruding from the inner surface. The link member pivoting portion has a pivot hole and an opening communicating with the pivot hole and away from the inner surface. A size of the opening is smaller than a size of the pivot hole. The link member is rotatably disposed in the pivot hole. The protruding member is disposed between the inner surface of the keycap and the link member. The link member is supported by the protruding member and contacts a part of the link member pivoting portion near the opening on a wall surface surrounding the pivot hole.

Key assembly and keyboard module

A keyboard device and an operating method thereof are provided. The keyboard device includes a microcontroller, a drive circuit, a backlight module, and a plurality of key units. The microcontroller is coupled to a computer device. A detection module of the computer device detects an input mode of the computer device. The plurality of key units is disposed on the backlight module. The plurality of key units each has a plurality of character symbols corresponding to different input modes. The microcontroller outputs a control signal to the drive circuit according to the input mode. The drive circuit drives the backlight module according to the control signal to selectively illuminate one of the plurality of character symbols of each of at least a portion of the plurality of key units.

Keyboard device and operation method thereof

A key module including a key cap, a bottom plate, and a scissors structure is provided. The scissors structure has a first supporting member and a second supporting member pivoted to the key cap and the bottom plate respectively. The first supporting member has a plurality of protruding shafts, the second supporting member has a plurality of axle holes, and the protruding shafts are movably pivoted to the axle holes respectively.

A keyboard includes a plurality of key modules. Each key module includes a baseplate, a circuit membrane disposed on the baseplate, a metal dome disposed on the circuit membrane, an elastic member disposed on the metal dome, and a keycap. The elastic member and the linkage member are configured to be a movable switch mechanism. The circuit membrane has a conductive circuit. The metal dome has an opening corresponding to the conductive circuit of the circuit membrane. A trigger portion protrudes from an underside of the elastic member. When the keycap is pressed, the trigger portion passes through the opening of the metal dome, and moves downwards to abut against the conductive circuit to induce a conducting signal. The movable switch mechanism can be made by a double injection molding method.

Keyboard, key module, movable switch mechanism and method for manufacturing movable switch mechanism

A key structure includes a key cap, a supporting board, a bridge assembly, a first supporting part, a second supporting part, an attractable element and a magnet. The bridge assembly includes first and second hinge parts. The first hinge part has a first pivot coupling portion. The second hinge part has a second pivot coupling portion. The first and second supporting parts are coupled to two ends of the first and second pivot coupling portions, respectively, wherein the first and the second supporting parts are disposed on the supporting board, a material of the first supporting part is different from a material of the supporting board, and a material of the second supporting part is different from the material of the supporting board. The attractable element is disposed on the second hinge part. The magnet is correspondingly located under the attractable element.

A key structure including a base, a pivoting structure and a cap is provided. The base includes a plate, a first limiting unit and a second limiting unit. The pivoting structure includes a first pivoting part and a second pivoting part, the first pivoting part has a connecting shaft, and the second pivoting part has a shaft hole in which the connecting shaft is received and slidable. The cap has a first pivoting unit and a second pivoting unit, one side of the first pivoting part and one side of the second pivoting part are pivotally connected to the first pivoting unit and the second pivoting unit respectively, and the other side of the first pivoting part and the other side of the second pivoting part are slidably disposed in the first limiting unit and the second limiting unit respectively.

A unit type backlight module including a circuit board, a plurality of light emitting units and a plurality of light guide plates is provided. The circuit board is disposed under the key structures. The light emitting units is disposed on the circuit board. The light guide plates are disposed on the circuit board and are separated from each other. The light emitting units and their corresponding light guide plates are disposed under the key structures for each key structure.

Unit type backlight module and backlight keyboard using the same

A key structure includes a key cap, a bridge assembly, a first supporting part, a second supporting part, an attractable element and a magnet. The bridge assembly includes first and second hinge parts. The first hinge part has a first pivot coupling portion and a first connecting portion. The second hinge part has a second pivot coupling portion and a second connecting portion, wherein the first and second connecting portions are connected on an axis, and the first and second hinge parts rotate with respect to the axis. The first and second supporting parts are coupled to two ends of the first and second pivot coupling portions, respectively. The attractable element is disposed on the second hinge part. The magnet is correspondingly located under the attractable element for providing a magnetic force, so that the attractable element is attracted and positioned by the magnetic force.

A direct-backlit keyboard is disclosed, the direct-backlit keyboard comprising a plurality of keys, a thin film circuit board, a base plate, a copper etched thin-film circuit board, and a plurality of light-emitting units. The plurality of keys are disposed on the thin film circuit board, the thin film circuit board being disposed on the base plate, the base plate being disposed on the copper etched thin-film circuit board, and the copper etched thin film circuit board being provided with the plurality of light-emitting units. Each light-emitting unit corresponds to each key so that the light emitted from each light-emitting unit can be transmitted to each corresponding key.

Backlit keyboard using two thin-film circuit boards

A key structure with mechanical switch includes a keycap, a support plate board disposed under the keycap, a scissor unit, a receiving housing, a guiding outer cylinder, a rotating inner cylinder and an elastic element. The scissor unit guides the keycap up or down along a pressing direction. The receiving housing has a plurality of sectional boards and a plurality of sectional cutouts. The guiding outer cylinder is movably received in the receiving housing along the pressing direction, and abuts against a bottom surface of the keycap. The guiding outer cylinder has a plurality of positioning bumps and a plurality of lodging recesses. The rotating inner cylinder is received in the guiding outer cylinder and has a plurality of sliding bumps. The elastic element is located in the rotating inner cylinder to provide elasticity toward the keycap. The present disclosure also provides a mechanical switch.

Key structure with mechanical switch and mechanical switch thereof

A mechanical switch structure includes a keycap, a base plate formed with a guiding opening, a scissor unit disposed on the base plate, and a receiving housing. The receiving housing has a first accommodation and a second accommodation. A guiding unit is received in the first accommodation along a pressing direction of the keycap, and is formed with a hillside portion. A first elastic element provides the guiding unit with an elastic force. A resistance module has an abutting unit which is abutted against the hillside portion of the guiding unit, and a second elastic unit to provide the abutting unit with an elastic force toward the guiding unit. The hillside portion is undulate-shaped and faces the guiding unit. The abutting unit is abutted against the hillside portion so as to provide different resistances during a pressing stroke of the keycap.

Mechanical switch structure

A key structure includes a supporting board, a base board, a pre-stressing force applying assembly, a key cap, a pivot assembly, an attractable element and a magnetic element. The pre-stressing force applying assembly is connected to the supporting board or the base board. When the magnetic element is under the first attractive position, the first end of the attractable element is attracted by the magnetic force and moved to the first attractive position, and the pre-stressing force applying assembly generates a first pre-stressing force; when the magnetic element is under the second attractive position, the second end of the attractable element is attracted by the magnetic force and moved to the second attractive position, and the pre-stressing force applying assembly generates a second pre-stressing force. The first pre-stressing force or the second pre-stressing force reduces the resistance during the sliding of the base board or the supporting board.
